Hello, Tyukaev!
It was like this: Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich 22 Dec 97 at 13:18 was pushing speeches to
All.
Well, so I wrote.

Well, hey, he writes to himself. You don't use a magician to copy the game, but to rip something out. Well then, what difference does it make
where the Magic block will be recorded.

PS. I liked the protection in Storm Lord Collection by KSA. There, when you click on Magic, the scroll runs, and there it says something like: Why are you clicking on Magic??? This really got me hooked.

Hello, Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich! I remember, on December 26, 97 you went ahead and launched
in All with this:
TEV> can 128 Magic run on such a computer??? It starts with the menu, but with
TEV> TRDOS it didn’t start (this is on Leninets) is this how it should be or is there a glitch with
TEV> computer?
If port #7FFD was blocked, then naturally. And if not, everything should
work.
Bye, with a pack of vicious, Pavel Fedin.

So Magic works on 48. Probably, in this particular case, it could
be implemented incorrectly in hardware (for example, they forgot to supply a supply or
what kind of capacitor to hang ;)
With warm greetings, Slava!

TEV> so, this is with 48 Magic, but what if it starts to drop pages
TEV> and the system track is already full?
It will read the system track, perceive its contents as a directory,
and write the remaining files there, which will be indicated by the bytes located in
the place of the first free block.

by logic.
now about the CV about the demo version :)
I recently transferred demos 004 and 005, I suffered for a long time on the first one,
until I explored the territory, then I passed it, and then 2 more times ;)
I sat on the second one until 4 o'clock in the morning - nothing succeeded ;(
the next day in the morning without breakfast I completed this version in 3 hours 18 minutes ;)
of course I dragged myself along, it was something until I moved in, what, who was doing it and how,
destroyed the first settlement - I thought that was it, but it wasn’t to be :)
okay, those are the details. Now there is such a question:
when I built the stable or whatever it was, I thought that I would be able to release
my own riders, but alas, even after a complete upgrade - this is a glitch or so
it must be that they had already appeared after the forge, it seems
and still a little catching up: I am simply amazed by the stupidity of my warriors,
and the enemy too ;) they pass by each other, and not they touch you,
this is bad IMHO!
and what does the icon mean - a leg with a cross?
and is it possible to somehow renew the energy of your soldiers?
well, and also - the workers have “run out” of huts - is this how it should be?
and how is the place of construction determined? why is it possible in some places
but not in other places?
are there any changes regarding this in the full version
and is there at least some description of all the equipment and people?
phew, everything seems to be :)

He said: “128 Magic”. That is, with pages. And if #7FFD is disabled, then
where will you load them?

Get Msg, Tyukaev!
04 Jan 98 12:54, Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich reported All about {Re: In the piggy bank of a

TEV> I recently uploaded demos 004 and 005, I suffered for a long time on the first one,

It feels like an experienced Warcraft player!
TEV> I sat on the second one until 4 o’clock in the morning - nothing succeeded ;(
TEV> the next day in the morning without breakfast I completed this version in 3 hours 18 minutes
I think it took 2:15 (game time), but IMHO it can be done faster.
On the other hand, what did you want - Level 10 for kungs, however :)
[Although in the demo your enemies are in no hurry to upgrade their weapons]
TEV> ;) I of course dragged along, it was something until I entered what, who and how
TEV> does,
Of course, it makes sense to play from the 1st level. In general, see WC1.
TEV> Now there is a question: when I built the stable or whatever it is, then
TEV> I thought that I could produce my riders, but alas, even after
TEV> a complete upgrade - is this a glitch or should it be so, they already
TEV> appeared after the forge, it seems
Yes, riders can be produced after the forge + stable. Probably, it was necessary to
prohibit the construction of a stable without a forge, but on the other hand - the owner is a gentleman.
TEV> and a little more to catch up: I’m justamazes the stupidity of his warriors,
It was possible to make them smarter, so that after repelling an attack they would return to their place, go on the attack themselves, etc. But on the other hand, why then would a player be needed? Do upgrades? :)))
TEV> true and the enemy too ;) they pass by
TEV> each other and don’t touch each other, this is bad IMHO!
Mmmm... It depends on how to attack the enemy (see description) - if you
specify an enemy or a building as a target, they will be attacked, despite any
external interference (in the army ORDERS ARE NOT DISCUSSED :) If the goal is an empty space, then
your warriors will go there, but WILL respond to the attack. However, they WILL break up with
enemy peasants/soldiers if they DO NOT ATTACK them - after all, they have ANOTHER ORDER
- you sent them to a position.
The enemy’s behavior is simple - the group goes on a campaign (usually to one of your
buildings). If your warrior comes into the front one's field of view, the enemy will call the others for help and they will rush to attack. They WILL DIFFERENCE with your other warriors until they ATTACK them. However, an additional condition is included here - ALWAYS
HIT THE CLOSE ATTACKER, otherwise the enemy can easily rush, for example, from one
archer to another.
In general, you need to look at all this this way: the warriors’ own intelligence (whether
yours or someone else’s) is really low. BUT: the computer controls its own, and you manage yours as best you can. INotherwise, the game will degenerate into a war
of the computer with itself - of course, nice, but why :-?
TEV> and what does the icon mean - a leg with a cross?
“Stand to the death” (see description) - respond to attacks, but do not move.
TEV> and is it possible to somehow renew the energy of your warriors?
The Kung priests do not have such a spell. Instead of it - “raise the skelts”
TEV> and also - the workers have “run out” of shacks - is that how it should be?
Yes. Like after nine. In this way, the total number of your
people is limited (1+9*4=37) in order to reserve space for magical creatures (spiders,
skeletons, etc.) Usually, you don’t have to produce more than 21-25 people.
TEV> and what determines the place of construction? Why is it possible in some places, but
TEV> in other places not?
Oh, there are a lot of simple rules (see description). It is mainly aimed at preventing you from building an impenetrable wall of buildings (remember WarCraft2 - there
there is a “swampy” area where nothing can be built. Someone thus
blocked a narrow passage in the 004 demo.
In general, for construction you need at least a stone path nearby.
TEV> are there any changes regarding this in the full version and is there
TEV> is there at least some description of all the equipment and people?
Although the description for CV is two times shorter than for UFO-2, it’s all there(it seems like
no one had any questions)
TEV> phew, that seems to be it :)
phew, what do I feel :)
TEV> PS ;) how about paying for and sending several copies to Ukraine?
So, they have already gone to Ukraine (to Donetsk). And a lot. However, please
order from 10 sets of 22 tr. - call (812)-143-33-03 and send
money by train (hide it in something, for example, in a floppy disk :) to my brother
(Alexey). The discs come back to you on the same train. Delivery costs
10-15 tr. (Lyokha pays back :)
