The start of a new season always gets the juices flowing. Everyone starts with zero points and all dreams are intact... enough of the cliches, on with the most derided of computer games; the management sim. But I like these games and I was going to tell you what the best ones are. Just the English League ones that is. As far as I'm concerned, you put club before country! but I've run out of memory so we'll save it for later. Oh well, I don't suppose it needs a whole feature to tell you that ON THE BENCH and THE DOUBLE are the best basic ones and D+H's machine coded MULTI-PLAYER SIM knocks spots off the rest. Hmmmm, didn't take long did it.
The mini celebrated 35 years today, mine is about ten years old but looks 35. It's nice to know that Andy Davis of Alch Research is also a mini fan. Can it be that all Speccy heads like small cute cars? We seem to like small cute computers...
I've just released my second demo on the Speccy and even though both fail to threaten new programming boundaries, I'm still proud of them. I've made a total fuck up as my first job as editor - I've not got room for me own fucking feature!! Issue 9 will be available from PD libraries on 4th November, erm, see you then! Fuck. Fuck.
