&Cn  Determining the position of the information
         tion carrier (DCD):
         &C0 - the modem supports DCD (con-
               cycle 8 DB-25 RS-232) always

            determined by the connection state.
&Dn  Determining the position of the ho-line
         terminal performance (DTR):
         &D0 - modem ignores DTR signal
               (pin 20 DB-25 RS-232);
         &D1 - when the DTR modem disappears
              goes into command mode
              asynchronous mode;
         &D2 - turning off DTR leads to
         "putting down the tube", exiting the re-
         pressing the answer and returning to the com-
