Soft - the new operating system for the ZX Spectrum: TASiS.

      Operating System TASiS

   In November 2005, for the ZX-clone ATM-turbo 2 + was 
published new operating system OS TASiS, to replace the

outdated and brake OS CP / M, and working on the order of 
magnitude faster the latter.



   In this axis, fully realizvana work with the hard drive 
already program supported by work with audio CD CD-ROM, being

support work takizh same drive with the files. Fully
endorsed and published earlier ROM xBIOS, so you can
rayuotat with TR-DOSnym software by downloading and running the 
images of his hard disk drives.



   Brief description of the system:


   System requirements:

   Minimum: ATM-turbo 2 (v6.40), 512Kb RAM, BIOS 1.07.12,
1xFDD

   Optimally: ATM-turbo 2 + (v7.xx), 1024Kb RAM, eXtra BIOS
1.32XT, HDD / FDD.



   OS TASiS ver.5.40 is "iS-DOS Chic"-compatible
operating system, based on the iS-DOS Chic ver.5.0
(Hence the numbering ver.5.xx), but which it further
development, relying on advanced graphics and
architectural features computer ATM-turbo 2 + (the origins
the name of it is from here: TASiS = Text Alternative Screen
iS-DOS).


   On the one hand OS TASiS is localized under the
specific clone, by editing the kernel and rewriting
graphics drivers, version iS-DOS Chic. But on the other hand,
this software, even if it ceased to result in
be obschespektrumovskoy system, due to a significant
development of the core, including the new restarts, though 
repelled by Standard iS-DOS, is nevertheless already self-

system, yes, which iS-compatible (and incompatible
down!), but has its own direction of development.
In other words, this version of the system, you see,
is the beginning of an independent line of development distinct 
from iSDOS, but did not break off her relationship with the 
final in terms of basic 48K-compatibility.



   The idea is that, although work on this kernel completed
and the system is ready, this readiness is not the end of

   Unlike OS iS-DOS, which is a commercial
product, OS TASiS in general, and this distribution in

charge.

propagation is forbidden (the price for physical media and

   Nevertheless, the authors of their own software products 
under TASiS have the right to distribute them on a commercial 
basis as a separate application to the system.

distributions TASiS without the consent of their authors, 
commercial development iS-DOS, running simultaneously, and 
under no TASiS pre-location, making the operation of this 
product other versions of iS-DOS impossible or difficult (as
