  ZX-GAMES:

  ■ Gambit, network chess game from Discovery Group, will soon 
be presented to all spektrumistam. Test the game was successful,

glitches, strangely enough;) were detected.
Hot on the assurance of the organizer Discovery, Gambit 
contains a bunch of eye-popping gadgets. :) This game will be 
included in an annex to ASpect # 10. 


  ■ In a short time can yield a full-fledged language version 
of the unique strategic game 'They Stole A Million'

- From other versions of it will be different
"42-character" type and accurate translation
text.


  ■ "Star Dust roads" - under such a romantic name appeared demo
new graphics adventyury with a revolutionary interface. We 
contacted the authors (GalaxySoft from Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny 
Novgorod reg.) who, referring to rave

feedback on their game, promised to release a full (commercial) 
version. 


  ■ Vyacheslav Mednonogov now works
over the animations to the FT-2. Throughout
probably soon with animation will be finished and he finally 
will take over writing the actual game. ;-) 



   ZX-SYSTEMS:


  ■ RST-7 wrote a fancy compiler
language 'C'! Now it generates the shell
program and creates a library for her.
It seems that appear a lot of tools from other
computing platforms "for free". ;-)


  ■ It is also preparing a new commercial version of
famous assembler TASM by RST-7.
Probably, the program will be described in
Official distributors for sale
after the New Year.


  ■ A new e-mail editor Diamond Mail Editor (C) 1998 by Diamond 
Code Group - according to the authors, the final

version will be released in January. It is intended
for those ZX-Net, which work on XTR,
Vicomm, C-DOS compatible modem, and they -
that is, not with FTN-system.



  ZX-PRESS:


  ■ Ready third issue of the journal Kharkov ZX-Power (C) 1998

final testing, Gambit'a. :) And now the bad news: the editor 
has decided Aspect freeze issue - for those reasons that the 
Discovery Group will now begin to develop other projects (think 
Gambit can give a vivid picture of these Projects:)). The last

  ■ Have you ever thought about
that all the press on the Spectrum is dedicated to
only computer topics? But this is
not good! Therefore, the Discovery Group
in the near future, will launch a new newspaper - Stonehenge, 
which, as it symbolizes the name;) completely devoted to UFO, 
magic, science fiction, puzzling facts, etc. More information 
will be described in one of the following numbers
