   That came to Moscow a long-awaited fourth issue of ZX-FORMAT.
Under the heading "IRON" published an interesting article on the
glitch found in the processor ZILOG.


   I think regular readers have already guessed what kind of 
team do not perceive this processor was discussed. In the last 
issue I already complained about this team - OUT (C), 0. CPU 
ZILOG perceives it as OUT (C), # FF ... 


   Unfortunately, many computers KAY, as I understood, it is 
equipped with this processor (and can understand them - a 
beautiful design, in my PROFI he stands 15 MHz clock 
frequency), and as CAPTAIN NEMO, which has a direct bearing KAY 
- "best friend" ZX-FORMAT'a (this is his rich erudition epics 
have caused such a yawn for many readers of the fourth 
magazine), respectively, the authors criticize the processor 
was "Not with hands" ...



   Incidentally, this dependence on sponsors, sooner or later 
fail authors of the journal ... however, this is not my 
business. So, instead of honestly admit that ZILOG oblozhalsya, 
the authors begin a new campaign - this time against all the 
undocumented commands. If it goes on, very soon, processor 
manufacturers are so simplify them (even increasing 
productivity and cost ),... no matter how broke a wave of 
incompatibility with the old P / O. .. 


   In addition, it is doubtful the establishment in general any
framework for the programming. I think if coders adhered
them, we would have remained at 80-s ... And yet. Do not you 
think that Petersburgers, despite their merits (?), Very so 
addicted to the campaign to eradicate what those other teams 
and then, in essence, dictate the terms of coders, convenient 
to them and producers of "simplified" techniques?



   And as you become the need of the new OS? I'm on the 
comparative characteristics of existing operating systems. As 
they lovingly treated to shadow the monitor (if it's running, 
then the STS general out of competition), as "killed" TR-DOS 
and pretended not to course "CP / M. But iS-DOS turned into 
something ...

   Finally there was the volume that contains timely and 
diverse information, the newspaper. 


   If only I had the strength of the editors of "pull" this 
possibility further. 


   I take this opportunity to wish the newspaper MAXIMUM, and 
to a year, and two, it does not lose its volume and 
informative. But writers and editors - that you have always 
been free time and no desire to publish it!
