I would rather ask him about ZXunzipe on pc. How would you unzip
archives with a bunch of files, those marked with asterisks? Will there be a new version?
And so that it also supports all packaging modes. And a packer wouldn’t hurt either.
BTW, what kind of ZXzip are we talking about here - Specov or op-pisish? Speck, that is,
even several.

What's the problem? We have, for example, a multi-volume archive. We call the first file
name.$z0, the second (which actually has the name *******.Z) we call
name.$Z1 and so on. After which zxunzip.exe launched with a parameter in the form of
any file name from this group unearths the entire archive.

DZ> Will there be a new version? And so that it supports all packing modes.

Hardly... :( Although who knows... Maybe insert a request into the FAQ? Look in
six months and something will appear. ;)

DZ> And a packer wouldn’t hurt either.

So there is. Somehow it’s not the same as we would like. The sequence of actions is approximately this: zxzip.exe name.$1
gives us name.zxz. Thus, we have a bunch of game files with the extension .zxz
Copy all the files into one file. It can turn out to be more than 255 sectors
tp-dos. And in conclusion, we use the small utility zxz2$z.exe - at the output we receive a
set of standard zxzip archives from Specov.

DZ> BTW, which ZXzip are we talking about here - about Specov or op-written?
DZ> Specovy, that is, even several.

About Specovskaya. And for the IBM pkzip there is a current unzip on the spec under is-dos.

With all kinds of regards and wishes.
Igor.

Thanks - I didn’t think of it.

And where to put it - otherwise there is no one. There was something, I don’t remember exactly - so there
packing took place only in store mode, that is, without packaging :)
Although it’s not funny. If your packaging is better, then send this zxzip
together with zxz2$z... although it seems that’s what I have.
