Nothing helps :(((I tried everything - it doesn’t help at all... :( Really in the morgue? Well, share the secret, how do you do it??? I have Sinclair
games - ~100 disks, I wanted to write them off to emul, but here it’s a bummer see... :( Well, someone help

In general, the best of them in terms of readability is Lunterovsky (I don’t remember the long-format one, to
regret someone from TRDos) It reads almost everything, but you need to format DCU or something
like that. Although I also read simple disks. Sometimes it’s true from floppy drive
depends (my neighbor's 1.2 is readable by everyone)
So, in order to convert disks into images in the Shalaevsky emulsion or format
it on a PC (there was a program here that just formats the disk in
ZX format), or run all the DCU disks.
p.s. :)
p.p.s. Hurray, then there is Zx in Volgograd, I thought that you only had an elite
fido network ;)

Eugene

Disks must be in normal format. In general, RTFM! =)

I distilled the disks into trdshniki using 'maketrd.exe' - a cool program, weighs
only 9 kilos! Even better than the built-in utility in Shalaevsky, since it doesn’t care in
what sequence the sectors are located!

"If all else fails, read the instructions." (c)-alien.
There was a FAQ here somewhere on all these matters. Ask. Maybe something will work out.
And if not, then read as I do:
1. Buy a connector for 3.5" from the nearest crowd. drive;
2.Simply pin it onto the Spectum cable from the drive;
3.At the PC in Shalaev you do it on any image: “From file to disk” and turn on
“Format”;
4.Unscrew the drive from the PC, screw it to the Spec;
5.Erase everything from the disk, but _don’t format_, you record what needs to be
distilled and then in Shalaev you do “From disk to file”
But this method is only suitable for small volumes, 3-4 disks.

problemmmm...

Where is this located? Is it possible to throw it into the echo? Since it's so small :))
PLEASE!!!

In general, MakeFdi is a rulez, an emulator, I don’t remember whose, but it supports both .fdi,
and .trd - a complete sax. He spoils .fdi and he doesn’t disdain .trd... The most interesting thing is that Shalaevsky then without any problems reads what this unpronounceable
emul considers killed :)
And now the question for filling - there is such a program that uses .fdi in .trd
converts? Just so that it works normally?
And one more question - is there such a thing that allows you to use a mouse instead of Kempston Joistik? Well, I would just love to play Hero Quest then...

Y? What kind of program is this? I don’t have one :( But there is a steering MakeFdi!
But, alas, there is no normal .fdi to .trd converter :(((

KLUG BBS, I think it was called DISK2TRD.exe, I renamed it. There is a lot of
good stuff there for spec.

The author already fixed this in 0.31, but damn image synchronization is a bastard!

Zx_emul - quite pronounceable.
AL> And now a final question - is there such a program that converts .fdi to

Yes, fdi2trd, but there is a big _HO_, it will convert ONLY if FDI is similar to
TRD in the arrangement of sectors and the number of tracks, it
swears at any deviations!

And it won’t be. TPD is a _hard_ format. 160 tracks, 16 sectors. All. Without
any additional sectors with incorrect numbers and other perversions. That's why no.
With all kinds of regards and wishes.
Igor.

AL>>> :(((
VS>> Write a batch file converter using zcop !
AL> Uh? Can you be more specific?
This is for converting FDI -> TRD !
%1 - name *.fdi
%2 - name *.trd
───────────< Import File: "FDI2TRD.BAT" >───────────
zcop.exe -f -x %1
zcop.exe %2 *.$*
del *.$*
───────────< End File: "FDI2TRD.BAT" >───────────
Respectively for reverse conversion TRD -> FDI, remove the "-f" key from the first line and put it in the second, and then:
%1 - name *.trd
%2 - name *.fdi
P.S. I think this body file will be of interest to everyone who needs to convert FDI to TRD.
P.P.S 2Igor Gruzdev: You can include this in your FAQ !

Me too. But only the standard one. A non-standard one will no longer work. Or rather
should not go. I haven't tried...
