ZX RULEZ 4EVER or To each his own

ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»

From Starwalker To All 8 June 1997

Hello everyone!

Okay, exams are just around the corner and we don’t have enough time, especially for flames with
hard-headed individuals. Therefore, I decided to stop the discussion about the moronic plans to create all sorts of SuperCalculators. I think many
will breathe a sigh of relief if messages with the subject “Superspectrum Is it needed?” will no longer appear on the screens of their pathetic adding machines? That's just what you want ;) Okay, get on with your life. Continue to play stupid games from ten years ago or the results of pathetic attempts to translate games from IBM (I mean Black Raven, which brought me and my buddies many hours of sincere fun). Continue to cherish plans for revenge on all damned IBM people by creating a Super Spectrum and connecting CD-ROMs to the ZX. If your supply of crazy ideas runs out, I suggest connecting the SB to a washing machine, or a modem to a vacuum cleaner. Well, okay, I won’t give a reason for
a flame, although I don’t care - I can write here what I want, and I could send
all together and everyone separately, those who turned a peaceful
conversation into a flame - they won’t disconnect me from FIDO and won’t prohibit me from writing.
I just don’t want to be like people who, when there is a lack of arguments
try to get personal and translate discussion into a skirmish of the type
"you are a fool." And I’m so backward and don’t understand the general line of the party
I’ll work normally on my stump and play normal gamesgames
(Diablo, KKND, NFS2), which of course are not as cool as 21 Dizzy and their
size is incomparable to huge two-floppy masterpieces. And so what?
Good-bye, good-bye.
Yes, I completely forgot: I answer letters within 2 days, and then
I pass out completely from the echo. So hurry up.

P.S. If the completely unrestrained Sinclairists do not understand my peacefulness and
want to send a couple of swaps by mail, or engage in trivial
mailbombing, sending 1000-1500 letters, then I will be forced
to take action. It was unpleasant for me to spend a whole hour extracting 12 meters of unnecessary rubbish. If you really want to send something, then
send software that is necessary and interesting.

You are mistaken... You can even cut off the INET gate from this echo (or rather, the echo
from the gate), and turn all the arrows on you - let's see what
others will say about you...

What the hell are you doing here anyway?

When you pass out, I’ll throw this echo into your mailbox in three months...

Why flame? You can chat in peace! But it’s still not known why you came here? Or are you the only one out of soft-mindedness who decided to teach all
spectrumists?

Note that such connection options only came to your mind! Where are we to you, Great Connector!

It smells like lamerism here, as some participant in this conference said - how can you
raise all new games with the same brush? First of all, IBM is not for children. There are special consoles for them such as Nintendo64,
SegaSaturn, Atari Jaguar. And just so you know, Mortal Kombat on
SNES was devoid of blood and bloody fatalities, because... The American Parents Association has banned such a cruel game from entering the markets. The blood was actually included there, but with a special code. Just like that. What can you say about the new “violent” games on IBM - NFS2, KKND, NHL97? I don’t remember something about “the joy of killing” there. Secondly, normal companies have not released games on Specky for about 5 years, so it is not surprising that there are no games on it that give the “joy of killing.” And even if there were, there would be no joy in such a chart! Thirdly, I am friends with my head, and precisely because
threw away my Spectrum in time.

Brad. I have a SNES. The blood _is switched off_ there and is not special. code, but in the menu.
Have been reading popular magazines, student...

^^^^KRUSH, KILL 'n' DESTROY
The name speaks for itself. Very stupid action...
2VM: By the way, Slava, have you noticed where the real-time strategy is going on PC?

... And there is especially little blood in Quake and Blood.

You have a European or Asian version of the game. If not
oshibayus', I'm sure they've taken it from the American version. Now don't
like Nintenda Americans :)

Yes, we are interesting, different people with non-standard views, which unfortunately
I can’t say about you, because people like you appear here regularly several
times a year and with fanaticism worthy of better use in template phrases
enlighten us about "coolness" of PeTse and our backwardness and lamerism.
Your actions and those like you force us to make assumptions that such
personalities are grown somewhere in a special incubator according to a special standard and
released at regular intervals, actually my question is “Where do you come from?” was caused by precisely such considerations....

2 Moderator & CoModerators: When will we be freed from this person
who has repeatedly and clearly violated the spirit and letter of the Rulezov?

[skipped]

Have a nice connection.
Roman.

If memory serves, then for 128 computers there is a swap, for 256 - not
(if we are talking about Pink Floyd OS 3.0)
