Howdy, All!
I see that V. Larkov (2:5030/221.11) threw Spectrophones 22 and 23 into the fire. In this case, where is the reciprocal “gesture of goodwill”? - They threw the Moscow SPF - throw in the St. Petersburg subject. IMHO, this would be more than fair. 2 thrashers.
²IG: I think we can throw the following ZF numbers... (?) What do you think?
Nothing special in this mysterious dungeon. Some strange passages, chambers and
creatures as charismatic as a chaos spawn. But please don't try to get in touch
with the treasure of Myphyre. An adventrurer's skeleton you see near about is
the most plesant death of yours now!

Well, after all, the password protection was specifically for this purpose, so as not to interfere with sales.
Although I also don’t quite understand Vova’s action, throwing away the password spectrophone.
It would have been better not to throw it at all. And you, after all, shouldn’t have thrown it again,

I’m sure that few people were very upset when a mega with
Spectrophones from _the authors_ fell on him... Still, we have some kind of popularity...
What Larkov threw was entirely on his conscience, he didn’t ask permission for this from me
or Yuri. And it doesn’t matter whether he was the first to do it or the second, with or without passwords... Although, the latter is precisely what is important. If there were no passwords, then it
would look like simple piracy, to which we have long been accustomed and, after
all the vicissitudes associated with the attempt to sell the latest issues, it would not have caused
a negative reaction from us... Posting our spoiled works looked like
the arrogant act of a novice fidoshnik, who recently acquired a modem faster than 2400 and
is running away from his possibilities.

Not always... Has the demand for magazines dropped sharply? Let's say... Are you sure,
more precisely, can you argue with reason that it fell precisely because of
posting them in the file archive? And not because, for example, numbers began to arrive in the city ordered from the companies "Inforcom", "Scorpion", "Logros"? Or because
your protection was hacked/copied (did you install it, by the way?), or they found a password
to the archives abandoned by Larkov (I especially liked the latter - half an hour
of work for a novice hacker familiar with the circumstances of the case... He would have entered “last”
...). However, I am not surprised - this is not the first time I have encountered the persistent prejudice of Fido members that this network is used by the whole world, including potential buyers. Howeverless, even in 10 million (if I'm not mistaken) Moscow, there are only 16 thousand registered users, but what is the percentage of Fido who are interested in Spectrum, and most importantly, willing to pay for programs for it...

How much can you criticize just the organizers about the failure of the second day?
Imho, those who left mountains of garbage, drew on the walls and
others who behaved inappropriately at E'97 should criticize themselves. First you need to look at your culture of behavior. “The people” themselves did a lot of things, and then, it turns out, their trust was undermined (although it’s a shame for those who came from other cities and were not able to exhibit their work). You can criticize the organizers for poor technique,

IMHO, to the Spectrumists - It’s a sin to complain. except perhaps only on
music-compo. and even here it is not so much the organizers who are to blame, but some individuals who filled up the music compo
