Question
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Alexander Cherneveckiy → To All 6 February 1998
░▒▓█ Greetings, O All!
People, I decided to help my friend get a printer for his ZX-specrtum
But here’s the problem - how to connect a 24pin matrix to the Sinclair-spectrum, so that it
prints with 24-pins?
Who can, help (maybe someone has a diagram connections or program?)
p.s. Happy upcoming St. Day everyone. Valentina !!!
To_all: if possible, we’ll solve the rest with soap...
I wish you all love with a beautiful CONNECT.

In any case, it will print the text with all 24 needles, respectively, in
text mode. At the most, for this you will have to use is-dos, the basic kit, where the printing program allows you to directly insert printer control codes into the text. You need to find out the codes from the printer booklet. In
the best case, it will work even without such control codes in high quality in
text format.
For printing graphics in is-dos there is the Print luxe program, but in this case
9 pin printing is possible, since I don’t know about the availability of a driver for 24
pins (maybe someone knows?). I also came across a program, I think Screen printer, which had support for printing graphics with 24 pins. I'll try to find this program and at least write the name.

Mutually!
With respect, Alex from FFC COMPUTERS.
