Video E97

From Vyacheslav Mednonogov To All 28 March 1998

Get Msg, All!

Once again, Artie from DR honored (with a week's delay) Peter with his attention :) Among other missions that he carried out in our city,
the most important was to deliver the Inlight video (97) to hungry people :) What he
did...

After the collective viewing, I want to share my impressions from
what he saw:

The main thing is that all the material can be divided into videos for gourmets (day
one) and for those who understand (day two, children under 16;). The first part is rather introductory - if you have never seen the face of Max Iwamoto or, for example, Kano, then you have a rare opportunity to see their photogenic faces
:) Moreover (thanks DR) you won’t have to guess “who is who” - every face of the slightest
importance in the Spekov scene will be highlighted with a frame with accompanying
text in the best traditions "Terminator Two".
I won't talk about the second part - you have to see it. I warn you - viewing may cause too strong emotions: children, pregnant women and the faint of heart should leave. Unfortunately, the video ends about ten minutes before the arrival of the police :((
Ending (bonus pack) - about how DR made the tape and about how DR made
Binary Love (hat - rulez :).

Cons: Sergey Izotin, Antony, Pavel Fedin, remained "untagged"Sparker,
Ilya Fomin ;), members of the Style Group, Wloder Black... A lengthy interview with
Progress members. The interview with Artie himself is quite pessimistic:(

Pros: in comparison with the materials of 96, the current ones have sufficient
dynamism (the actual absence of interviews in the spirit of Logros is a balm for the soul).
Although sometimes the authors overdo it (Lyosha from Master-Soft vomits throughout the entire
second part, Lav goes on business, too many drunks/people in cut :),
too much obscenity), however, according to J. Stunner - “you can watch”.
Yes, also - the editing can be called professional (at least for us lamers
we can’t do that)

As far as we know, the cassette from Novgorod was expected to have a cool competitor -
a cassette from St. Petersburg from Virt group (or whatever their name is right now), which should was
collected by Misha Spitsyn. I don’t know, maybe this cassette should have been a hundred
(two hundred :) times cooler (according to the authors’ statements), but... whoever had time, ate it.

With warm greetings, Slava!

ps2SN: Phrase from 1997: “The first day of Inlight was rules, and the second - sax.
(long pause) ... but in the end it was also rules” :)
