Venon Strikes Back

ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»

From Andrew Kriulin To All 13 September 1997

Hi ALL, hope you are having a nice day

I decided to write to the all-knowing ALL about the game subj.
There is one and I like it. But I can’t get through. I already know the passwords
of all levels (although the last one doesn’t work, although the game
writes it itself). And the last level has a glitch - if you run in the "flickering" mode without stopping, you can safely reach the end. But what's next? There is no message or anything else. Maybe my version is "broken"? It looks like this: a primitive loader in code loads an unpacked image, checks for the presence of
additional memory and, depending on the result, loads
either only the main code or another
4096 bytes into an additional page, after which music for the AY-8910 appears in the game.
There is no mention of a hacker.
If anyone has a fully working version - soap
please, or in the echo - the game is pleasant and not stupid.
Or maybe I’m doing something wrong - share your experience.

-=> Yours sincerely, Andrew Kriulin <=-

At the end it displays a couple of phrases on the screen, like - everything is fine, you passed
and throws it back to the menu.
