!!! UUE & DOS Navigator !!!

ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»

From Denis Itskovich To All 9 February 1998

Hello, All!

Please don’t consider it off-topic!

A huge request to those who use DOS Navigator! Don't believe the rumors about it being buggy - they are not supported by anything. But the fact that sometimes many decoders cannot decode his yuyuki is a fact! It's all about the options you specify
when coding. If you want your file to be decoded normally, _NE_
TURN ON the "Char mapping table" OPTION! Most decoders
do not understand it.

And in my opinion, it’s all because of crc64!
As for “many decoders,” I know only one - AUTOUUE!
Go to PKT2UUE, it’s more convenient and you can attach an external decoder there!

All the best. /──────────────────────\ [ Fantasy World - Rulez ]

Tests were carried out on UUE by ARA, uudecode by R.E.M. and on pkt2uue. All of my
decoders understood crc64, but no one understood the Char mapping table.

Already switched. All the same, some navigator jujuks fall into trouble, from where
they are perfectly dismantled by the navigator himself.

See you later...
Denis.
