TURBO or not TURBO?!

hALLo !
SUBZH!!!
I have pent512 I want to listen to MODs, I made a turbo according to the VMG scheme (it turned out to be working)
there used to be such speeds (even-odd commands (maybe vice versa)) according to
RamDoctor's test: 71680-71684
after turbocharging: 88xxx-940xx
why is this so not enough??? and how to do more? it is said that it should be at least 155%, but it turns out that I have 133.3%, I tried the air conditioner as said,
no results, then I tore the track and ran it through a resistor -
the speed increased by about 100-200 cycles and that’s it!
Is this really the limit?
Maybe due to the fact that I used TM2 555 series?
Help please!
Eugene

Probably the limit. After all, memory speed has not increased. By the way, is the
WAIT signal generated with this circuit?

Of course 1533 is faster, but imho, don't care.

Perhaps it’s a series, I had it before, but with turbo the screen decomposed.
Then I replaced it with 1533, now everything works great. And finally try changing the percentage, maybe it will help.
With maximum respect, Andy Harchenko.

531 is faster anyway :)

40 legs, this is of course good. But processors from different companies produce different signal timing diagrams. As a result, some circuits are “not indifferent” to the type of processor...
Tested in a real circuit.

Well, IMHO, it doesn’t affect the speed. It either works or it doesn't. Speed
depends on the circuit design.
AH> And finally try changing the percentage
AH> it might help.
But this is the right advice. From my experience, on a sophisticated Spec, with turbo, etc. Z8400A _GOLDSTAR_ work best.
Although the speed will not increase, it will simply work very steadily.
All the best.
With respect, Roman Milukov.

It’s just that on most Russian-made Spectrums there is an eternal problem with
the power of power supplies.

It will be difficult in the Pentagon without it :)
there is generally an interesting turbocharger, the processor must, at its 7 MHz
have time to jump to memory between samples of the video processor.
I don’t remember exactly the details, but it’s literally there - will the processor
have time to digest the command and steal one more byte from the guns, or while
he is thinking, he will run into wait... in general, the circuit is extremely unstable. Although
there was an idea, instead of wait, to slow down the percentage at a high level in terms of clock frequency, but I haven’t checked it myself yet.
By the way, I have just 155% in the turbo, percent Z80H, and due to the fact
that the processor sits on the handles a little longer, The video processor
sometimes skips sampling data for the screen. It looks like flickering across the entire screen in a tube. Unfortunately, it is observed
in all Pentagons with 155% productivity in the turbo, and not observed - with
133% output. :(
With the best, Denis.

Have you tried to poke someone else? it usually helps
if he is faster (but not always if logic = 155 ;)))

This probably won’t have any effect. It seems that in branded Spectrums, wait was not
used, there the clock frequency was locked.

Well, if there are glitches on the screen, then why such a turbo? It’s better then let it be 133%.

It’s better not to try - it’s in short supply and expensive.
