HELLO! Venerable Vsevolod!

It was 08:31 Thursday November 06 1997, when somewhere a dog was howling, somewhere a child was crying,
and Vsevolod Potapov wrote a letter to All:

I don’t know what it determines, but VLT switches:
IN #7FFD
IN #1FFD

With respect,
Igor
May Schwartz be with you!

Hello, Vsevolod Potapov! I remember that on 06 Nov 97 you took it and launched
in All with this:

VP> I’m very interested in how the Scorpio computer (and, apparently,
VP> others)
VP> programmatically switch the operating speed - Fast\Normal? I understand that

VP> work

VP> Computer
VP> (shadow) determines that Turbo is on or not? plz tell me!

AFAIK, the transition to turbo mode occurs by input command from port #1FFD, and to normal mode - from #7FFD (or vice versa - I don’t remember). Whether the turbo is on
can be easily checked by measuring, say, the number of passes of a certain cycle during an
interruption.

Bye, with a pack of vishezes, Pavel Fedin.

VP> :)

It didn't go wrong !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've traveled this SCORP far and wide ;)
Programmatically and hardware-mechanically ;-)
I ruined two boards :(
But then I restored nothing.....
A so I've got all kinds of things for it.....

Not counting the turbocharged VG, 512kb, 16kb non-volatile,
3 disk drives (2 - 5.25, 1 - 3.5), replacing the ROM with PENT,
Indications: memory banks, ROM,
my 12V board did not start, and all the digitized Mouzons sang....

The only thing I regret is that I didn’t pick out TURBO CHIP,
I didn’t have it :-(
And I didn’t achieve multicolor :-(
> theoretically impossible <

Oh yes, I almost forgot: I didn’t have Covox..... :-(
At first there was no time to assemble volumetric editing, and then they, as I understand it, they're out of fashion...

SIMM tried to attach... but oh well... that's a long story...

But actually the chip is almost under a healthy bellyI dug it out... it's painfully tedious to sort through 32768*32768 options, and even twice. :(

Maybe I could attach something else, but the power supply is a pity, so at the output there is 50,000 uF
hanging, and there’s also a zx-modem with a tape recorder... ;)

If there are people interested in SCORP, I’ll help...

I’m new here, if something is wrong, don’t kick me... may the moderator forgive me.

C Respectfully,
Igor

What, BLAVA 128 too? ;)

IB> If there are individuals interested in SCORP, I will help...

Go ahead. Is it possible to attach a professional software to an old board without changing the board itself?

I don’t understand why change the software to Pent?

What does the board have to do with it? There is a cockroach sitting under the fuse, which does all this work,
regardless of the board...

DZ> Threat I don’t understand - why change the fuse to Pent?
And so that all sorts of hacker versions of all sorts of different tricks work ;)
