No... There are no complaints for another reason ;) I was convinced by the well-known name of the author and
the title of the work, accepted (being) the official dictionary of hacker terms
and concepts. And where the author lives is the tenth thing...
DG>> Yes? I've been meaning to read it for a long time...
MR> yes, if you can read AmigaGUIDE... (hypertext-like system)
You'll probably be upset, but I have no information that Eric S.
Raymond has ever had anything to do with the Amiga and I'm absolutely sure that he doesn't even
know about the existence of the above-mentioned glorious publication (is this
Inforcom, or what? And “hypertext-like is really bad? ;) Actually,
the source is called “Jargon File” (“Hacker’s Dictionary” - so to speak, a paper
version), official website: http://www.ccil.org/jargon/ - there and online version
(hypertext withsearch ;) and can be downloaded in text form. Yesterday I looked -
version 4.0.0 (released July 25, 1996), the paper version is called "The New
Hacker's Dictionary"... In general, thanks, Max, for reminding me... it hung there all evening, amazing work!!! Someone would translate... but there is more mega ;(

Who would argue... If only there was enough time for everything ;( Many people know the basics, but
to assert with confidence, especially when it comes to terms and laws,
you need a literal translation. Otherwise, your opponents will quickly find local
“professional” translators and you will spend years proving your case ;)

Well, maybe...Indeed, "Hacker's Dictionary" in this regard is beyond
competition.

Where is this? My opinion, to put it simply, has always been this: Kraker is a breaker of defenses, this is his main occupation, goal. Any cracker is, by definition, a hacker, but not every hacker is a complete cracker. What did I get wrong? ;)
MR> Good Luck...
Sincerely, Dmitry (OLDMAN).

knows about Amiga, doesn’t know... in the dictionary Amiga is mentioned -> knows.
This is one, two, this is that I don’t have another edition. What I have is conversion. I don’t know where the original is. Do you understand? Those. I
can’t help you, which is what I wrote.

Hello, Tim!
It was like this: Tim Yunaev 28 Dec 97 at 16:17 was pushing speeches to Max.
Well, I wrote it.
ML> Said. A hacker is already a violator of the law.
TY> Please link to the law, only the exact one.
ML> Because. there are no laws allowing hacking.
TY> Depends on what you mean by hacking.
TY> By the way, what does _law_ mean by hacking? :)
I got it a little mixed up. Hacker with Kracker.
A “Hacker” is a person who studies the security system as a whole and looks for “holes” in it.
A “Kracker” is a person who hacks a defense with the ensuing consequences.
This is a close-to-text retelling of phrases from the newspaper "Computer World Russia"
So, everything that I said about Hackers applies to Krakeram.

Hmmm. So, now newspaper articles are accepted as by-laws?
ML> So, everything that I said about Hackers applies to Krackers.
Again, a link to the _law_ (specifically, where the word hacker is in the law).
Do not offer links to the Internet/newspapers/magazines :)

Hey hey! There is no word hacker in the law! The law states what cannot be done and what will happen for it.
So that you understand what nonsense you are asking, remember that there is no division of thieves into pickpockets, burglars, window tinkers and so on. And there is the theft of citizens' personal property.... The truth is also divided according to the degree of damage caused. But this is already
particular.
I think you understand that a hacker, cracker, etc. These are just particulars invented by programmers, users, etc. they have no legal meaning.
For the law, hacker, cracker, cracker, etc. are empty, irrelevant words.
With respect, Shor Kan.
