Sprinter Software Protection!

From Denis Parinov (812/08.16) To All 9 July 1997

Hi, All!

Here a question arose about the protection of Software at the hardware level. Anyone have any thoughts on this? The Peters
would like to do something like this in Sprinter.

Best regards, Denis.

Unique computer identifier (serial number). In ROM or somewhere else... For
binding.

Another option is a standardized connector for an electronic key (ideally - AKA
LPT port, at the same time there will be one for a printer). Again, the key for 93C46 aka Novex
will be easy to copy, and the keys for PIC are expensive, comparable to
the cost of the program on Speccy (cost $3-$10, depending on the batch and
type)

hello, Denis Parinov (812/08.16)! I remember that on 09 Jul 97 you took it and launched
in All with this:

Insanity - firstly, there are a lot of hemorrhoids, and secondly, if information about this protection
is not distributed, then no one will be able to write for it, and if
distributed, then it will be of no use.

bye, with all the best wishes, Pavel Fedin.
