Spectrum, what should it be?

Hi, All!
> Namely, all this must
>be plugged into an ordinary bus connector, WHICH is also present
>on the branded SPEC.
However, the bus also has limitations!
I can express my sympathy and respect to all the “gentlemen-plug-ins”,
as long as they do not try to prove to everyone that their solution is the only one true_.
I adhere to my old views: EVERY Spectrumist is dear to us!
That’s why PLUGS also have the right to a “place in the sun.”
The main thing is that the software of these Spectrumists is software for the Spectrum.
And since the software for the Spectrum is a purely secret thing, then no one will be particularly upset
if 80% "plug-in software" won't work on regular Spectrums,
the main thing is that at least the remaining 20% should work ;)
Sprinter's idea was based on this, so that not a single gram of software would be lost ;)
Virtual Spectrum is also a way out of this situation, when _someone writes
all new emuls_. The problem is different: in the available information, so that
the developer follows the path of Intel and IBM, who allowed them to steal ;),
and not APPLE and Motorola, who did not allow theft. But why should hardmakers
give away their money?!
The traditional Spectrum is good because
most people know everything about it! Therefore, the reproduction of the well-known
architecture (CLASSICAL) on a new element base, ALTHOUGH IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE,
has the advantage
thatthere's nothing _especially_ to hide. And the extensions will have to be made public as widely as possible, although this is not obvious at first glance to the hardware developer. Otherwise, even the best of them will remain “a thing in itself.”
With respect, Andrey Savichev/CGS
