How do you imagine working with a modem (at least ZMODEM) via DMA?

It will not slow down, because the spec will accept a page without graphics, video and
music - only text. It’s the same as working with a terminal BBS.

People from Kharkov can confirm this.

What can you order from WWW, what can you download? And what kind of WWW will this be, with bare text? Is it possible to organize a network of servers that will convert graphics and TT fonts into a digestible format for
Spectrum?

Bye!

Historically, the web began with this. And even now on many systems
pages are in text format. Abuse of graphics has long been considered
bad taste (the traffic is large, the channels are slow due to the huge number of
users.

Convert only manually. And how will the spec accept all this, with screens?
Yes It’s cheaper and easier to accept 2 kilos of text than 18 kilos on three screens.

When working on a line from Spectrum, no disks are enough. And ordinary WWW
can be viewed freely in text format, without any conversion.

Sometimes they order pages from us (network on C-DOS), we transmit them to the network in the form of simple
text.
