From Alex Letaev To All 25 February 1998

Hello Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich! In a message of 24 Feb 98 Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich wrote to All:

TEV> In general: from now on, I suggest that everyone under one SUBJ not crowd and
TEV> neatly scatter into three heaps:

Why should we split up to begin with? What, there are already a lot of people in all
projects? When the people will be able to divide, but now why,
we need to help each other, not fight.

TEV> 1) the Malkov/Letaev project and everything connected with it can be called
TEV> Large software market (in English) or C-Soft; 2) project

Both large and small markets. And it will most likely not even be a market, but something like an exchange, with its inherent trading. All over the world,
many things are sold globally, which prevents you from trying it here.

TEV> Novikova/Savicheva - here we will still argue and maybe we will come to some kind of
TEV> thread of consensus;) Small market for software or, in short, N-Soft 3) ways
TEV> to protect N-software (well, since this topic is secret, it’s possible ).

Since the essence of our project is to first provide information about upcoming and
finished products, how will our project interfere with yours? Or the goals
of this project are not considered to be access to information not only of traders, but also of
end buyers, be they natural or virtual. This information unity is needed by everyone, but instead of harmoniouslyact,
we will argue here for six months, and oppose projects that are not only not
competing, but also help each other’s development.

>> DG> The benefit is in supporting authors, keeping them on the platform. You need to think more globally
>> DG>, Alex, you know how :) And don’t forget that in addition to DG>
>> distributing secure network software, we are also talking about freeware.
TEV> And not just in retaining authors, but also in attracting new ones! ...and even
TEV> are far from newbies!!!.

Yes, and how can this
be achieved without natural traders and natural buyers? Our project will allow everyone, to begin with, to receive at least the necessary and
accurate, quick information.

TEV> You will remember how many former Spectrumists work the hell out of nowhere :(
TEV> If they
TEV> understand that there is a fair amount of online buyers
TEV> of Spectrum software... in a word, as the Americans say
TEV> "prostitutes will follow miners
TEV> to the ends of the earth" ;)

And if they understand that the heap is not networked even more, and if there are two heaps together
(networked and non-networked), then why is that worse?

>> What’s bad if Malkov’s project works, and according to this project for the heap
>> there will be a trade in software for verticals?
TEV> And the bad thing is that it’s up to the heap...once again I repeat: I am FOR all
TEV> limbs, ifnon-network traders will become interested in the EMERGING
TEV> network market and
TEV> will begin to work on it too! To do this, they don’t have to stand for hours in
TEV> cold
TEV> and in the heat waiting for buyers.

Damn, the author himself can act as a network trader, additional traders
are not needed, all buyers on the network are available in a short time.
And non-network traders are forced to abandon non-network buyers, and
become yet another intermediary, so that the author gets less money? And
operational information on a product that is being prepared for sale on the network will again be
provided by our project.

TEV> Finally, you understand, BOOTS OF THE KING OF HEAVEN ;) (by simply returning to you
TEV> your own
TEV> ball ;) ) THE WHOLE WORLD IS NOW TRADE ON NETWORKS!!!
TEV> ------
TEV> Where are you? ...not in a dream ;)

Damn, what prevents the people participating in our project from trading online? Let
some work in real life, and others in virtual work, the software is the same, the authors are the same,
the information is the same.

>> will get in the way. And instead of trying to promote this project in an echo, we don’t even see anyone’s proposals. :-((((
TEV> I personally have no idea about the SUBTLETS of trading among straight people,
TEV> i.e. what I saw as a buyer is terrible :( ...let’s take for example
TEV> Peter...

You have no idea yet,how things are in Moscow. :-))))

TEV> Have you seen the CV Advertising in the media? Yes, at least in those
TEV> newspapers that are distributed free of charge at every metro station?
TEV> And on the Advertising panels in Gostinka and Petrogradka at least a line
TEV> flashed
TEV> about Spectrum and ChV-1?

Yes, there is no money for this yet, and there is no need for such things. But in electronic
Spectrum publications it is necessary to include information. Nevertheless, this
information is not there, and the authors of the publications are racking their brains about what to write in
the news, and at the same time, somewhere the author is grieving, who wrote a good program and
received 10 rubles for beer for it, since the program, for example, was written in some Upper Vasyuki, but in Moscow, for example, they don’t know about it, and
they think, well, when will such a program come out, and in the newspapers there are news from series:
"Yesterday
my friend Vasya came to see me, and we drank 10 bottles of beer, which is two bottles
less than last week, but then there was vodka, and the five of us drank."
:-)))) Without covering the local local media, it is stupid to poke around somewhere
further, and our project is intended primarily to provide
information, operational and fast.

TEV> But everyone rides the subway!!!

The percentage of sopectrumists reading Spectrum publications is higher than the percentage
spectrumists in the metro. You won't deny it. And immediately visiblethe first
real goal, and not a bunch of unrealistic ones.

[killed]

TEV> Once again, excuse me for “with a pig’s snout in a Kalash row”

Here you are of course right, but the situation needs to be improved today, and not argue about
similar projects. Waiting and procrastination are disastrous.

TEV> As for network trading, I’ve already babbled on this one enough,
TEV> but
TEV> I’ll repeat about it +
TEV> 1) there are no problems with Advertising and pre-sale campaigns, for example, Slava
TEV> everyone
TEV> is so “hot” that if he sells HF through networks, I think in 2-3 days
TEV> would be bought
TEV> by half of those present (i.e. more than 250 people); 2) everyone has
TEV> the opportunity to try a “good product”, the computer is always
TEV> at home, where the demos actually fall.
TEV> If you like it, you pay, if you don’t like it, you don’t eat it (oh S. Novikov
TEV> understood this very
TEV> very well, and therefore the subscriber says it ;) )

Yes, Slava just realized it something like our project, without anyone’s help, and
what a global result.

TEV> That is. YOU CAN'T sell BULLSHIT on networks if you sell each item
TEV> SEPARATELY. 3) Authors and traders have FEEDBACK, and to the entire
TEV> audience
TEV> at once! Non-network traders cannot even dream about this.

Yes, at the beginning if Slava trades in private goodsIf it turns out to be through networks, then then
we will compare the number of sales to networkers and non-networkers, and then it will probably be impossible to resolve our dispute, if it is difficult to understand the situation now. In the best case scenario, we should not oppose online trading with regular trading, but act harmoniously. Since so far there are no practical proposals regarding network trading, I propose to take up our project at the stage of collecting
information and distributing it to publications.

TEV> Here, in networks, nothing can hide from meticulous statistics ;) 4) But
not
TEV> only the buyer here is close to the author and trader, BUT AND VICE VERSE.
TEV> And submit here Lyapkina-Tyapkina - so anyone here can afford to say
TEV> to themselves! 5) And finally: unprecedented efficiency (especially for those
TEV> who have an E-mail)
TEV> for solving any related, primarily financial,
TEV> issues.

Exactly, as well as for presenting information and collecting it into something more or less
decent, which is what our project will do.

TEV> EVERYTHING! I won't rant anymore. All these advantages are already
TEV> OBVIOUS.
TEV> Therefore, those who are interested in the small market, the N-software market, go with
TEV> further
TEV> discussions in SUBJ: N-Soft

Why divide markets and people, you need to start acting coherently, over time
improving your activities.

>> DG> INow I’ll say a terrible, seditious, vulgar thing - the number of emulators
>> DG> is growing, and the number of reals is falling... Moreover, the speed is already frightening.
>> Any option will serve the Spectrum DG>. It’s better, of course, if there are two of them
>> (options DG> Savichev/Novikov and Malkov), since the first one, here you
>> are right, in the case of DG> secure network trading, real freeloaders will not benefit from DG> (which is what we are actually trying to achieve).
TEV> This all started at the suggestion of Slava. Then let me make a proposal:
TEV> protect N-products of only 3-5 categories, i.e. with the cost
TEV> of a general network license over $400.
TEV> Otherwise, it’s somehow not good to protect newspapers, “start-up magazines” and
TEV> simple
TEV> toys with cool protection.
TEV> Let straight people have at least some benefit from the project
TEV> Novikov/Savichev!

Damn, there shouldn’t be any benefit “somehow”, but a big one for all spektrumists, dividing them into networkers and reals. For now I see what our project can do with this relaño.

You better join, since confrontation will lead to nothing, and
we have one task (and our project is able to solve it), saving the situation with
Spectrum.

With respect, Alex from FFC COMPUTERS.

From Vyacheslav Mednonogov To All 25 February 1998

I hope all St. Petersburg residents have seen the advertisements for “Black Raven” on the windows of subway cars?

Warm greetings, Slava!

It’s just a coincidence that someone published a book with the same title
:))))
