From Roman Petrov To All 29 November 1997

Hello! Dear All!

PEOPLE! I don’t understand, Subj didn’t reach anyone or are you just lazily
reacting to it? If I didn’t get it, I can upload it again.

With respect, Roman aka Megus of Brain Wave corp.

I got it
good idea
why aren't the tanks colored? where is whose - don’t understand - it’s very bad
well, let some of the land bloom before you get to know the place - no problem
otherwise everything is green - brrrrr

And it’s not clear when they die :( Either a direct hit - nothing, otherwise
it gets covered with a little sand - and everything explodes.

In general, these are guns, not tanks - tanks can drive :))

Warm greetings, Slava!

Hello! Dear Vyacheslav!

At 00:29, Wednesday December 03 1997 there was such a thing that
Vyacheslav Mednonogov wrote a letter to Sasha Shost:

VM> And it’s not clear when they die :( Either a direct hit is nothing, but
VM> then it gets covered in a little sand - and everything explodes.
A everything is correct - there are weapons of different power. And about the sand -
every pixel on which a tank falls is 1 dead person. That's how it is.

VM> In general, these are guns, not tanks - tanks can drive :))
No, these are tanks, they just pierced the tracks :-))

From Vyacheslav Mednonogov To All 5 December 1997

RP> No, these are tanks, they just punctured the tracks :-))

And the shells are blown away by the wind. There's a lot of wind there, however :) If you make the sand blow away, it will be "Desert Storm"

Warm greetings, Slava!

VM> And the shells are blown away by the wind. There's a lot of wind there, however :) You also
VM> make the sand blow away - it will be "Desert Storm"
You should also be glad that when I receive the real wind speed shown
by 8 (or by 16), otherwise you know what fun: you shot to the right
with a force of 1000, and wind to the left with the same force :-) Now that's a lot of fun :)

As for the sand, it's already too late, the game is at the completion stage:
all that remains is to finish purchasing weapons (and armor) and actually sell the armor
Oh, well, also record the table of the best on disk.

PS How do you like the accuracy of the computer? Has anyone noticed one serious glitch in his logic? I’m generally silent about the fact that he doesn’t take mountains into account :-)

From Roman Petrov To All 6 December 1997

By the way, it doesn’t have to be green - everything there (Ink, Paper) changes perfectly
both from the Main Menu and from the game menu.

We persuaded, I’ll do it in the full version. As soon as it (the game) pays off here in Yoshkar-Ola, I’ll immediately throw it into the echo box (it will take a few more days to finish it).

PS What do you think of the computer’s logic? Not a bad start? Somehow, out of habit
the computer beat me in 2 rounds in a row, but then I got better ;-)
It’s true that I’m unlikely to improve the logic, unless I try
to fix one glitch related to taking into account the wind...

Which one are you interested in? :).

VM> Which one are you interested in? :)
Let’s express everything (there’s actually only one really serious one) ;-)

From Evgeny Vorobjev To All 8 December 1997

RP> But my friends (not computer scientists) somehow didn’t notice the uniform color
RP> of the tanks - everyone remembered their locations after their first
RP> shot.
Of course... But, my little son and I agreed not to kill our own right away, and
sometimes with the first shot you’ll kill him without knowing, where is it even before he shoots...
The color is still better...

RP> By the way, it’s not necessarily green - everything there (Ink, Paper) is great
RP> changes both from the Main menu and from the game menu.
And this is interesting... But I only saw colored striped ones (too colorful and
the tanks are almost invisible).

RP> Persuaded, I’ll do it in the full version. As soon as it (the game) pays off at
RP> here in Yoshkar-Ola, I’ll immediately throw it in the echo (it will take a few more days to finish
RP>).
We’re waiting, sir. I played the current version with my son for 3 hours...

RP> PS What do you think of the computer's logic? Not a bad start?
RP> It’s true that I’m unlikely to improve the logic, except that I’ll try
RP> to fix one glitch related to taking into account the wind...
Yes, in general, it’s normal, but the wind acts too strongly on the projectiles, and
in the direction it’s not always in the indicated direction. And the shells generally fly like bunches of straw... You just can’t calculate them. My son beat me several times and
only because I was estimating the energy, angle, wind and its direction. And he -
took into account only “himMajesty" - an accident, it didn’t change anything and hit more often.
Is gravity somehow taken into account, that is, the acceleration of free fall?

I liked the shell rolling down the hill into the depression and the explosion there... A couple of times
that’s how I hit a stranger.

All the best, Evgeny. Mon Dec 08 1997 22:33.

From Andrey Khristov To All 9 December 1997

RP> You should also be glad that when I get the real wind speed
RP> I divide the one shown by 8 (or 16), otherwise you know what fun:
RP> you shot to the right with a force of 1000, and the wind to the left with the same force :-)
RP> Here it will be fun :)

We had one person flying on an An-2 plane against the wind. The speed relative to
the ground is ~0.

RP> And as for the sand, it’s already too late, the game is at the completion stage:
RP> all that remains is to complete the purchase of weapons (and armor) and actually sell
RP> the armor And, well, also record the table of the best on disk.

This is necessary...

RP> PS How do you like the accuracy of the computer? Has anyone noticed one serious glitch in

Why take mountains into account if bullets are blown away by the wind?
Maybe then we can take into account the turbulence of the wind behind the mountains???

EV> We’re waiting, sir. I played the current version with my little son for 3 hours...
Hey! Well, just like me and 4 of my friends (we were torn off by pulling the plug
from the socket)

EV> Yes, in general, it’s normal, but the wind acts too strongly on

EV> Majesty” - the case, did not change anything and got in more often.
Well, excuse me - you probably played too little Scorched. I play in the wind so very well. Several times I hit a guy hidden behind a mountain only
when taking into account the wind.
EV> Is gravitation somehow taken into account, that is, the acceleration of free
EV> fall?
With the logic of the computer - yes. And in general, gravity can also be changed.

EV> I liked the shell rolling down the hill into the depression and the explosion there...
EV> A couple of times I knocked out a stranger just like that.
No, after all, you are definitely confusing my game with Tank Wars, although if you
thought to get into the game and installed Rollers for yourself, then...

From Roman Petrov To All 11 December 1997

RP>> in his logic? I’m generally silent about the fact that it doesn’t take into account mountains :-)
AK> Why take mountains into account if the wind just blows bullets away?
AK> Maybe then we’ll take into account the wind turbulence behind the mountains???
So I’ll explain - the computer has two behavior options. In one of them he doesn’t take anything into account at all, in the other he takes into account wind, gravity and naturally
selects the force of the shot. By the way, it was precisely because of taking into account gravity that we had to
give up weightlessness (gravity = 0), since the formula resulted in
dividing by zero :-)

It’s not worth it - many people don’t have it connected (we swam - we know :)
