Hello Sergei !
Monday June 30 1997 17:37, Sergei Novikov ─── Evgeny Milun:
SN>>> Yeah. Will you buy any Warcraft from RAMbo? I don't. I won’t even watch
SN>>>.
EM>> But I’ll watch it. And if I like it, I’ll buy it.
SN> Well, well. If you bought UFO 2, you probably didn’t even look at it. And look at the noise by RAMbo
SN> first...
Nope, I didn’t buy it. The broken version came to me much earlier than the next IFC price list.
SN> So there is still a difference? ;)
Did I say that there is _absolutely_ no difference? I just said that first you need to look at the program from all sides, regardless of who its author is, and only then say “it’s all bullshit.” It is quite possible that this game will indeed turn out to be garbage, but it may also turn out that it is a useful thing.
Do you think, out of nothing to do, a year and a half ago I proposed to make a column looking at the _quality_ of programs?
[.....]
EM>> Yes, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. And at the same time I show how you can
EM>> change the meaning of a phrase if you take it out of context. (You still
EM>> have not lost the desire to advocate for “not quoting the whole paragraph”) :))))
SN> _TOTALLY_ different things... Read Revival 1 - you'll see. There, 2 MMA phrases (already long) were shortened, withIn this case, only the most uninteresting things were removed, and the meaning of the phrase _absolutely_ did not change. For you it’s the opposite. Don't
SN> pretend you don't understand :)
I told you - they hushed it up. It was just a joke.
Good luck! Evgeny.
