Hello, Serge Vesnin! I remember that on May 06, 97 you took it and launched
in All with this:
SV> Please also respond to the owners of "PROFI". I would like
SV> any information about the new soft-e and hard-e. Specifically, I would like to know about
SV> "JAZZ COMANDER".
SV> Is there a monitor of the "STS" type for "PROFI". We have it in Perm
SV> there is the first version of "WARLOK DEBURGER", but this wretchedness does not
SV> tolerate switching memory pages.
SV> Where can you purchase the clock generator firmware for "PROFI"
SV> called SAMX6. (ideal case - in the form of a file
SV> for the programmer)
SV> What about the system for "PROFI" under the hard drive. I connected
SV> I have a "WESTERN DIGITAL" hard drive, but it turned out to have faulty
SV> clusters and my formatting hangs on cylinder 398.
SV> Therefore, I have a question - is it possible to use a hard drive with faulty clusters in CP/M
SV>?
Do you mean software for CP/M? There is not and never will be a normal monitor, shell or hard drive support for it. I wholeheartedly advise you to forget about this insanity. In addition, Profi stopped being produced and supported - the Condor company switched to the Amiga. I am the ownerthis
computer, I know a lot about its additional devices, and I can say that
CP/M is an extremely bad choice. It is not suitable for working on Speccy.
yet, with all sorts of Wishes, Fedin Pavel!

On the day 09 May 97 Fedin Pavel had the good fortune to write to Serge Vesnin:
FP> Do you mean software for CP/M? There is and never will be

This should be forwarded to SU.HUMOR...

Hello, Andrew MOA! I remember on May 11, 97 you just threw this at me:

Hello, Tony Pavlov! I remember that on May 12, 97 you just launched this at me:
FP>> CP/M is an extremely

TP> In fact, this is a rather controversial issue.
Not at all. What did you have to do to run CP/M on it? I had to
change the memory card, make a second screen... The result was not a Speccy with CP/M, but essentially two machines on one board.

Yep. Tell this to someone like Kirill Gromov - you will be inundated with enthusiastic cries about the fact that under CP/M there is a “branded” C from the Company Named Pa-Tris Lumumba. ;)) And not just any version, but version 1.1! ;))
Good luck! Evgeny.
