Get Msg, All!

Has anyone been involved in porting Spec's code to PC? What software exists for
this (if it exists)?

Warm greetings, Slava!

If you are trying to port Raven to PC, then this is COOL!!
As for the software, I only used the snapshot compiler from Warajevo :),
which in the 2nd version is cooler. Well, I just saw a compiler from a Z80 code file into 8086 codes, somewhere on the Internet.

Cool - if your phone is damaged - get WarCraft on the PC from
WarCraft on the Spectrum, received at one time from WarCraft on the PC ;)) Like
(again about the Stilus :) take the Russian text, translate it into German, then into
English, then back into Russian and see what happens :)

IMHO, it simply attaches the emulator kernel to the snapshot and outputs it as one
execute :-?

NZ> Well, I just saw the compiler from the Z80 code file into 8086 codes, somewhere

That's it. Maybe someone else saw it? Otherwise I’ll write it myself :-]

With warm greetings, Slava!

zy\ back (pc->zx) does anyone need it? :)

You, of course, know better, but:
1. Raven is not Warcraft at all.
2. Raven is the same PHENOMENON and SENSATION for the Spectrum as DOOM was on the PC back in the day.
3. Yes, of course, many will NOT UNDERSTAND the appearance of this port, because... The current generation of gamers (gamers :)) was brought up on a TON of compacts with a huge number of stupid games.
People over 20 years old and “tinkering” with various hardware for about 10-12 years (mimnium)
understand how a good game differs from a bad one. Those. even if on the screen the letter A is chasing the letter B under the beeping of the PC speaker. The current generation is like the son of the new Russians, who demands new toys every week and quietly grows dull from their number. These people really won’t understand... :((((
4. In my opinion, Raven needs to be ported:
a) With Speck graphics. :)
b) With Spec sounds. :))
It will turn out stylish and the problem of playing on emulators for virtual players will be solved.
They (emulators) will not be needed.
Here. I just wanted to scold the youth.

It’s the same, but in 2.0 it’s somehow unrealistically cool with the possibility of sub-downloads :)).

As for security and leaks... What did you mean?

VM> Eh, too lazy to write:(

EEE... Well... That's cool.

I meant that having an option for PC, no hackers will be able to convert
it to Spec. And vice versa.
That is. if you make an unprotected version for “virtuals/networkers” (
SNS project), this will not in any way affect the distribution of the version for the real Spec.

Ugh! It's good that you think so. There is one plus here - CHV, as a project
Successful even within the framework of the HRC, will attract public attention to the Speccy, like, "THIS :-( ), yes on the Spectrum!!!"
I was hanging out with some Poles/Czechs on IRC, so they are drawn to the Voron demo
(in emule)!

To be honest, they are in awe of everything... They can’t be considered a criterion... They will be dragged along
and go play StarCraft on a peseta...

Yeah. But for real Speck you don’t have to do it. :-/

All the best.
