ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Andrew Oparin → To All 20 January 1998
Hello All.
I apologize in advance for a bunch of lame questions. About 2 weeks ago I subscribed
to Echo and therefore there are a lot of questions.
1) As in the emulator, which I recently ran to load snapshet files.
2) Files with *.$* extensions are, as I understand it, TR-DOS from disks. How to push them
into the emulator. (Is this even possible?)
3) how to work with disks in the emulator. (The problem is that I had a Spectrum, but I had never even seen TR-DOS before.)
4) Where in the 5020 you can carry more gadgets and programs. (BBS or FIDONET
stan.)
Once again I apologize, it’s somehow inconvenient myself. I would be very grateful for
any information.
And here’s another: Is my emulator buggy and if so, how can it be fixed? That is, the screen in it is neither white nor black, but smoothly transitions from white at the top to black at the bottom. Moreover, even with the brightness turned up completely, the image is very dark.
P.S. Has any advanced disassembler appeared since 5 years ago? I wrote on ZEUS then.

ZX_Emul.exe ????????.sna/z80 - In short, read the description!

Using utilities like 'zcop', 'SpectrumNavigator', 'zxtools' .

Yes, lucky...
You enter tr-dos, write 'RUN' and oops!

KLUG BBS ! (I don’t remember the phone)

VY> It’s my emulator that’s buggy, I still have it in beta. :))
VY> What video card and monitor do you have?
VY> Try changing the VIDEO_RATE parameter in the Ini file towards
VY> decreasing. 58000 55000 50000
VY> In general, read the document, there is a lot written there.
The document is not rich there. I read it right away. Changing VIDEO_RATE leads to, how can I describe it, a very strange effect, as if the image is being minimized. The reverse is visible. And my card is S3Trio64V+.
Thank you for your answer.
