Why is the disc unreadable?

How to do, All! (I mean, how are you?)
There is such a problem: I have a pack of Spectrum floppy disks lying around. I decided to convert them into *.trd using one of the emulators. oh... only those discs that I wrote myself will be converted. But they don’t want what they bought at the store. Although in the old days everything worked OK on speccy.
Why such a problem?
All the best to you, All!

Hello, Alex!
It’s quiet outside the window, and I’m sitting and writing a response to a letter written from Alex Galkin to All

Patamuchta faku.
With all sorts of regards and wishes.
Igor.
... Is it worth discussing the style of the straitjacket?

In order to convert any disk to *.trd, I have to format
a blank disk on IBM, then on the spec, rewrite the disk
that I want to convert onto it, and if you have it on the spec It's worth turning on the VG, you'll have to turn it off while copying, otherwise nothing will work again.
Sincerely, Aleksey Andreev.

IG> Patamuchta faku this.
... and if you don’t have a Spectrum left, I can only advise one thing -
read them through the UKV 1.2 emulator and write them into a *.FDI image (to then
convert to *.TRD)
Warm greetings, Slava!

IG> Patamychta this is a fak.
It’s understandable.
It’s clear where this fak is.
If it’s in the fak, then maybe someone will throw me the soap I need!!!
All the best to you, Igor!

From Vladimir Yudin → To All 28 January 1998
When formatting a track in TR-DOS format, its authors
made one unfortunate mistake - they deviated from the standard format
of the track, making the synchronizing space before the first sector
a little smaller than necessary. As a result, most
IBM controllers do not have time to come to their senses after the index hole and catch
the first sector.
Sometimes, to read such floppy disks, it helps to seal half of the
index hole, so that the index pulse
ends a little earlier. If you look at the floppy disk from above, then
the disk rotates counterclockwise, therefore you need to
seal the right half of the hole when looking at it from the center
of the disk.
Sincerely
