From Evgeny Milun To All 2 April 1997

Hello Vyacheslav !

Sunday March 09 1997 23:12, Vyacheslav Mednonogov ─── Evgeny Milun:

[.....]
VM> Sorry, Evgeny, for interfering in your multi-part conversation, but...
Nothing, nothing. True, I hoped that this series had already ended.

VM> In the article in SPF, in Oberon 1/2 the following thought runs through the red thread:

VM> “Yes, there is copyright and we respect it, but if the author made
VM> errors in the program (or so it _seems_ to us), then such copyright
VM> has gone to hell. We will then shovel everything and release it your own version for _free_
VM> distribution"

VM> This is not a quote, this is how I understood you. Got it right? It turns out that
VM> is just copyright “in general and for the Spectrum” :(
You understood almost correctly, with the exception of one BUT. Not “if the author made mistakes”, but “when the author showed disrespect for users by not removing errors that were visible even at first glance, or something like that kind."
Details - soap.

Good luck ! Evgeny.
