Hello Dmitry,
In a message dated 07 Mar 97 you wrote to me :

This is a minus. It is impossible to select the optimal ratio.

MR>> Should it work automatically? A

DG> How is this? Script, or what? No. Yes, and it’s not necessary - it’s not an editor.

What if there are a lot of pictures?

MR>> Can anyone do animations on 286?

DG> Someone for sure... But in general, it looks like an off-topic :)

Why? Discussion of graphics conversion methods.

Good Luck...

Yes? Then you need to ask those who use 286... Somehow they
get out of it.

MR> Good Luck...

In my opinion, this is also a completely normal topic for discussion, not abstract editors and png->tiff conversion methods are discussed,
namely conversion from other platforms to your favorite Specky.

That's exactly what somehow :-) And then we look at the crookedly-obliquely processed pictures.

That’s rightly said! A similar situation has now developed in Taganrog. The guys wrote a game like "Heavy Metal Mover", everything is ready except the pictures themselves. Or rather, there are scanned pictures, of excellent quality, but in IBM format :( We tried to convert in different ways, but the quality is not the same. Maybe something can you tell me if it's not a hack?

P.S. Hardware support is a bummer, but what software should I use?

Bye, Vladimir :)

It's all simple - use alchemy :) It is specially created for converting
graphic formats, and conversion to b/w is traditionally given
increased attention there - the best algorithm, in my opinion. There is nothing more I can help you with in order to guarantee promotion of other programs for 286, you need to
have the last one...
