From Konstantin Afendikov To All 3 April 1997

Hello, All!

To test the converter for ZASM 3.10, you need source codes (preferably
working) of something of the following assemblers:

-Gens
-Tasm 3
-Masm 1 (there seems to be no other)
-Alasm (if the text formats in different versions are different - it is advisable to send
both.)
-Xas (the same as Alasm)
-Zeus
If I missed something, you can send the source code and the assembler itself - we will also
make an envelope. In general, it will be possible to convert from everything, and everyone
will be able to write the conversion procedure themselves without any problems.

Best wishes, Konstantin.

zy: ZASM 3.10 is almost ready. Dema is coming - wait. G8)

I don’t understand something:

1) if y You have all these assemblers, then why can’t you write your own
program.

2) if you don’t have asms, then how are you going to convert without having tables?

For example, in my MASM 1.1 and 2.0 all operators are packed into one byte, the same
in others IMHO, and all these tables are _DIFFERENT_ .

With Best Regards,
AIG.

so last time we also typed it, tested it - everything is OK. And then they say - it's buggy. I’m too lazy to fill in anything big, and I don’t take into account all the subtleties. And in general
- I am writing an envelope, and not typing programs in Masma. Ж8)

so you’ll have to get them. I already got Alasm out (I rubbed it after 2 minutes of use - polling the keyboard NIGHTMARRRRR!). There is some kind of XAS too - let’s figure it out. Ж8)

I know, you don’t have to tell me. It’s the same in zasma.
