Have you ever read about justice, expediency, humanism? After all, this
is also all regulated. If you’ve read it, then you understand perfectly well how you’re cringing right now... I’ll try to give examples of “assaults that can cause
damage to honor and dignity...”: changing the inscription “Windows95 starting” to
“MustDie loading”, a hack by Milun and his “Countries of Myths” team - in the intro toIn their version, they simply threw mud at the author from head to toe (these comrades generally have such a habit - STS, VirusII...). Sometimes such actions are called

You emphasized the word “lawfully” many times. I hope you have already understood that
purchasing from official distributors, directly from the authors,
downloading frivolous programs from public storage places is a legal
purchase? Or does this also need to be explained to you? ;)

Well, you understand... If the accompanying documentation or the program itself does not clearly
indicate that the author does not want the user to change the code, then such
changes are legal. If indicated or on the programprotection is installed, then the only thing you have the right to is to demand that the author himself
ensure the functionality of his program on your machine.
AP> Until I found something new, I took the law from the 1995 collection. Still looking.

Agreement? Check. And in addition:

>> copies of programs for computers and databases.
You should look into the help files of your files just in case ;) But if you throw away the receipt, you still
can’t prove that you bought the program. Wait for the withdrawal ;)

That's right. If you call for crushing _all_ pirates, that is, as if you are engaged in
social activities, in your speeches you use the words “country”, “a mess in
our country”, then take care to look at the level... otherwise who
will listen to you.
And if you defend your own rights, and even those violated by specific individuals,
then this does not play any role. And there is no point in nodding at the “lawlessness that is happening.”

Lameness is not criminally punishable, but here is the LAW and specifically says that it is NOT possible.
Here GATES will resist like a ram and the poor user will lose the process. Maybe they won’t charge him any money, but they’ll definitely say that they violated the law.
Do you remember what the magicians say there? 1982 Sincler.....can you say this is not an attack on integrity? So in the law, several articles say that it is not possible to change the name of the author and assign his work to himself. But the STATE office did it. Or would you say they had the right to change the firmware and copyright of the author? Well then you contradict yourself. So I’ll take ZH and write that I made it and that it’s not the same thing? Or any ONLINE and add itthat this is my thing.
How do you look at it?

DG> Sometimes such actions are called simply - lameness.
You can also look at the On-Line newspaper, no. 64th.
The most interesting thing is to read such lines written by a person
who himself once in his articles smeared several of our programs in something “brown and sticky”
[(C) D. Grigoriev], although he himself did not even see them.
The person who in “Captain Blood” under the line "music by J.M. Jarre"
inserted KSA music, throwing out the original one for the hell of it. And “they threw mud at the author,”
he is apparently talking about our bewilderment as to why several
“gags” were inserted into the program and why a program that would fit well in 128 KB works
only on 256.
And about everything else, don’t doubt it. Of course, _rework_
The Land of Myths is illegalbusiness (by the way, how can you prove that it was not an “adaptation”?) But telling people about the glitches in STS and Virus 2, and how crude the version of the Land of Myths, which IFC persistently advertised, and for which it received quite a lot of money, is quite legal. Moreover,
this already smacks of the law on advertising.
And also, if you haven’t seen Virus 2, be sure to watch it... And then, let
“dear DG” all your thoughts about the quality of this program. Better
netmail - swearing is prohibited in echo.
By the way, you can do the same with the Land of Myths. True, for a greater
effect, you should read the IFC advertisement, and pay ~ 40 thousand for this program (this, however, is the price of almost two years ago). Well, never mind, I'll soon upload our version of "Countries..." here, you'll see for yourself what we hacked there. :))) (Absolutely, old man Oldman is confused... Now adding auto-tuning blocks, changing disks, etc. to
a completely unprotected program is a hack.)
DG> Well, you understand... If it is not explicitly stated in the accompanying documentation or in the program
DG> itself that the author does not want the user to change the code, then

:)))))))))))) What is it, huh? Those. if, for example, you do not hang a sign on the door stating that you forbid anyone to break into your door, then any break-inwill be
"legal". From now on I will always make a similar
postscript in my programs...
DG> If protection is specified or installed on the program
DG>, then the only thing you have the right to is to demand from the
DG> author to ensure the functionality of his program on your machine.
:)))))) Just imagine, this person was scamming not more than 2 weeks ago law,
and still foaming at the mouth proves that he studied it carefully...
Good luck! Evgeny.

And this is such a feature of the distribution of the program - copy protection
is called ;) When you purchased the program, you agreed with this condition or
you were not warned, that it is impossible to copy a floppy disk in the usual way?

Ay-ay-ay... I hope you used the received copy only for archival purposes?

;) You should be less picky about the letter of the law. We are not creating a new one, but trying
to understand the existing one. Look around, do not separate theory from practice and do not consider everyone to be bandits. Remember, the violation, in the final case, will be
determined by the court, and it will take into account not only legislative documents but also much
other things.

DG> Download my version of the game in 48k mode and wash your ears properly before doing so.
:)))))) You know, this version does not say that it is “only 48”. But somehow it never occurred to me that, having a program that works well in the 128th
mode (and, as far as I remember, in this mode it is possible to use it “to its fullest”), to launch it from the 48th. And in the program itself,
as far as I remember, there is no inscription “48 music by J.M. Jarre”.
DG> I’m tired of lying...
Ok. I was _wrong_. Let it not be “throwing it out for the hell of it,” but “stuck it in so that no one can hear it.” Is that better?
(It seems to me that this is exactly how I should have written you a letter about
On-Line'64: “Dmitry, I’m tired of lying already,” and in my stupidity I wrote
“Dmitry, you made several inaccuracies.” Who knew that such a tone
ummmm... is somewhat alien to you.)
P.S. By the way, set yourself an "H" mood.
