Buenos Dias David!
DM> Comrades, until then we spectrists will use the nasty, but
DM> dear
DM> graphic design ART STUDIO. You probably don’t know that
We know, we know and even write!
DM> in addition to music editors, we should also write graphic ones ;-( with
DM> powerful
DM> support (or until 2000 we will draw 2D graphics on PC and AMIGA).
DM> I personally know 3 artists who quit drawing graphics due to
DM> lack of thought and
DM> outdated AS interface (I’m working with the 128k version from 1989.)
The graphic editor is “actively” being written in Samara by two comrades:
ALK / STARS OF KELADAN - main coding
M.M.A/SPEED CO - organizing & main idea macker
new "masterpiece" has the working title ART NAVIGATOR and will be not so much a graphic editor, but a whole package of programs united by a single core and interface designed for creating/processing/importing -
exporting graphics (offtopic and pc) with all the main applications for the editor (file converters, compressors, printing utilities). etc.) will be loaded from disk, and on machines with
extended memory up to 1024KB all this will sit on the RAM disk, and the user will not even notice that this or that option representsis a separate program.
It will also be possible to use one or another utility separately,
i.e. without editor. And these are not all the main points of our future development!
The first demo version (interface demo) will be given in OBERON#4 (available
from as right after session). We planned to bring the full version of the editor with us to E'97, but most likely we won't have time, and we will bring the next demo
version.
Currently, the user interface has been completely written and .... everything
else has been abandoned due to O#4 and NOUMENON ED (our demo at E'97).
All ideas and advice on the editor can be sent to the editorial office of the magazine
OBERON or directly here....
We ask all interested parties to respond.
DM> With big schedules...
DM> IMMEDIATELY DIEMSI/FXI/ALC.
With the best wishes.

Art Studio, by the way, it’s extremely easy to use.
AR> The graphic editor is “actively” being written in Samara by two comrades:
Since 'actively' is in quotes, it means it's in figuratively? :)
AR> ALK / STARS OF KELADAN - main coding
AR> M.M.A/SPEED CO. - organizing & main idea macker
That is, in fact, by one person, because Although the “main idea macker” participates in the creation, he doesn’t write anything! :)

Has my ancient letter about Super Art Studio been preserved by EM?
Hasta la vista, Alex! See you in Eden!

EM> I don’t remember. :( And where was it? In the echo, or in Netmail?
In the echo. Letter ²Arty. You can, if anything, demand Vova Hex (²VH: How I framed you ;)))
Hasta la vista, Evgeny! See you in Eden!
