From Max Romanoff To All 3 April 1997

Hello Igor,
In a message dated 03 Apr 97 you wrote to Oleg Bashtenko :

OB>> You can have some hit like “Clouds” 8E~~~, and write lousy,
OB>> but it will work, because it’s a hit. So what and how to write so as not to be in
OB>> overflight???

IG> Remixes, afaik, are prohibited.

It depends. Never mind - the crowd will decide. what is better and what is worse. If a person wants to make a remix of the music from the lyre, then let him do it. This may
be approved, or spat on.

OB>> And are Mouzons transferred by hands to AY allowed?

IG> Hardly. Then it will not be the quality ('coolness')
IG> of the musician/melody that will be determined, but only the popularity among the people of this
IG> work in the original.

Nefiga. Here is the same as above.

OB>> And another question, I don’t know where, but in our country it is not AY that is very widespread, but YM
OB>> music processor, experts will understand what the problem is. Which music processor
OB>> should I write under? Let me explain to those who don’t know - AY and YM sound different, although
OB>> play the same thing;) and the pinout is the same.

IG> You probably need to know what kind of connector will be on the machine on the compo. ;)
IG> But the organizer from ZX is probably asleep... ;(

What? The steering wheels are painted, what else do you need?

Good Luck...

... My new Pentium is so fast it can bake a potato in eightminutes!

From Igor Gruzdev To All 6 April 1997

Hello, Max!

It’s quiet outside the window, and I’m sitting and writing a response to a letter written from Max Romanoff to
Igor Gruzdev Thu Apr 03 1997 at 19:28...

IG>> Remixes, afaik, are prohibited.
MR> It depends. Never mind - the crowd will decide. what is better and what is worse. If someone
MR> wants to make a remix of Mouzon from the lyre, then let him do it. MR may approve of this, or spit on it.

Well, if it’s from a toy/demo, in a word, a remix of _computer_ music is
all right.
