The Flash version is crooked - it doesn’t work on Scorpios.

Do you have it? Share, right? And we will cut off the scorpion with the shutdown button 7ffd
:)
With all sorts of regards and wishes.

Better in the echo, because I also heard about her, and it would be
interesting...

Well, I have it (like almost all Flash new things), but I won’t throw it here
it’s buggy, according to Artie. (If anyone really needs it, it’s still on
Digital Oasis).
The version is very peculiar: after loading it hangs for several minutes ;( But at this
time it shows how the game will look. The graphics, I will say, are not very good.
I didn’t wait a few minutes... =(
Here is what is written about this in the accompanying text (by Odysseus/Flash):
Probably the best ever game for ZX Spectrum !!!
Don't be afraid if nothing happens on your $creen
after loading during 3 minutes. Wait & you'll see...
Some useful info: after several minutes you can
command, talk and ask to little man (play game,
run program, save program, drink a water, dance...)
Some keys: button "EXTEND" MODE"+[any key] cause
some action...Hope you'll find it...
To save game just command him: save program...
He ask your name (change name) and you must press
from 1 to 10, so you can save ten various games
if you want. At start you can load saved game
after question (y/n) simply pressing from 1 to 10.
That's all what I know 'bout disgame.
If you'll find something new in this game
mail me: ody...@che.nsk.su
Errors, of course, were not corrected.
PS: But they (like everyone else) from ftp.nvg.unit.no they pull, and there is this lcp
lying around, snapshot - 58K in archive (²DR)
Hasta la vista, Vlad! See you in Eden! Novikov Sergei AKA Spirit/STEP

I completely agree with you. Is it possible to put this button here as a
description? I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, but only SCOOTER had it - but he’s in the army right now...

Subj : Refinement of Scorpion ZS-256 (blocking #1FFD).
─────────────────────────────────── ─────────────────────── ───────────────────
Hello, All!
It happened a couple of years ago :-( A button was invented that was strangling the #1FFD
port. For a very long time, laziness won and did not allow me to type the circuit in the editor. Then, in the end, after another statement about
the “incompatibility” of Scorpio either in a review or somewhere else, my soul sang
a hymn to my favorite board and demanded satisfaction. I went to the editor, typed up the diagram, gave it to a couple of friends. Again I became lazy, this time to write comments on the diagram. The last impetus for distribution to the masses was the publication of the ZX-Format magazine in St. Petersburg, for which they asked. I was too lazy to write an article, so I had to write it.
NowI was thinking - will this magazine soon spread across the country? But
Scorpios are everywhere. So here is this
article, I just reformatted it more widely:
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Vladimir Larkov presents:
blocking port #1FFD on Scorpion ZS-256.
The material was prepared specifically for St. Petersburg electronic magazine
"ZX-Format". Reprinting and distribution of this article in other
magazines, electronic networks and other media (provided the full volume of the article is preserved) by the author is only
welcome.
We present to your attention a simple modification of the computer board "Scorpion
ZS-256", which will help make life much easier for its
owners.
Recently, a sufficient number of programs have appeared whose authors
address the port at half the address, using the OUT (#FD), A command to switch
pages. Such programs refuse to work on
Scorpions, because... "Scorpio" requires the full port address.
This modification allows you to run such programs. It blocks
port #1FFD, thus “passes” OUT (#FD), A and allows you to use, for example, STS without
processing programs, look at “SATISFACNION”
or
“INSULT”. Shouldremember only one thing - they will not work with the program button, for example TASM, which climbs into the ROM via RST#8, because RST#8 is under the control of a shadow operator, which
needs the eighth page to work, and, naturally, port #1FFD.
So, now in more detail: you can press the button at any time
while in the boot, or the program itself, you should not press the button
only while in the main menu of the computer, because there is also a shadow man in charge there. So, for example: You need to launch STS - go to TR-DOS, press the button, launch the RUN "STS" program. You are surprised to see that the program works!!! Or, even simpler - pressed "ENTER"
in the main menu, dropped into TR-DOS with the boot loaded, pressed the button,
launched the program.
The only boot I know of that is not friendly with the button is
Trubinov's old boot (probably uses RST).
The second thing is that the button is pressed - does not prevent you from using the shadow!!! When you press "magic", port #1FFD will be unblocked and you will find yourself in your favorite shadow area without any problems. The second control signal for unblocking the port is, naturally, “reset”. Those. by “collection”
or “magic” the computer is returned its port and extra pages.
Thus, another plus is revealed - the button allows you to “cheat”
protectionsfrom "Scorpio", based on filling the 8th
page at random with all sorts of rubbish. And although this effect was not taken into account when coming up with the modification, it is another argument for the modification.
Now - the diagram:

=======================================================
Notes:
1. It is convenient to use half of the TM2 remaining from the “VG turbocharging” (if you have done it). The leg numbers in this diagram are given taking this fact into account.
2. LL1 and LI1 are installed on a free field on the board. Their
unused (yet) elements will still be useful to us in future improvements.
3. For greater convenience, it is recommended to make an indication:
300 Om
┌────┐ +5V
┌──┤ ├─────>
__│_ └────┘

|
10 kOm /
9(TM2)┌────┐ │/
──────┤ ├────┤ KT315
└────┘ │\
\ emitter

─┴─
Soldering this thing, you will never get confused - when the lock is on
the LED is on, when it is off - not.
In conclusion, I would like to dispel doubts indecisive - I had this
upgrade installed more than two years ago, during all this time not a single minus has been identified - after all, until you press the button,
the upgrade has NO effect on the computer circuit, without changing it AT ALL.
With best wishes, Vladimir.
St.-Petersburg,23-Oct-1995.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PS: here somehow someone threw a “black list” of programs. Try
now, with the button to start them... I think that the list will become
empty...
With best wishes, Vladimir.
