What exactly? Scheme? I didn’t have it, I didn’t have time ;( And there are technical characteristics in
help for the modem...

Hello, Tyukaev Eugene Vladimirovich! I remember that on 05 Jan 98 you took it and
launched
in All with this:

TEV> a friend here asks me, who unfortunately did not have access
TEV> to the echo, in which newspapers (online, zxnews, etc) there is some technical
TEV> information about modems like C-DOS and others, otherwise he doesn’t have time to download everything
TEV> in a row. Help Dima! Who else knows?

CDOS modem port - #EF

Bits 0 - 3 in both directions are not used.

To output:

4 - test bit
5 - pick up the handset
6 - dial a number (in this case, bit 4 must be equal to 0)
7 - data for transmission according to the tape recorder principle

To input:

4 - input from comparator 1 (signal from the line according to the principle of a tape recorder).
Used to determine signals from the telephone exchange (BUSY, Dialtone, etc).
5 - What you output in 4 bits.
6 - input from the bell sensor (pulses are coming).
7 - input from the comparator 2. Used to receive data.

Also, on a separate request, I can provide a circuit.

So far, with a pack of vichezes, Pavel Fedin.

For those who don’t know, in St. Petersburg ZXNews was replaced by the newspaper ASPECT. Two (three?) issues have already been published. It looks very good, no worse than news. Here it is with a clearly technical slant - the first issue talked about amplifiers and batteries :) About Ts-DOS, however, there is nothing there :((

With warm greetings, Slava!

PF> CDOS modem port - #EF

- for the Pentagon.

For some models (GRM, Scorpion) it is necessary to add two more address lines
to add and redo the software. If you connect via #E9, it will work everywhere.

The circuit was in this echo.

Not at all obligatory. It's much easier to install the IORQGE driver\
You add a maximum of two logic chips, and... that's it... telemarket... Everything
works great. (On my Scorpio, this is exactly the kind of thing. C-DOS
is used with a bang, the same with Hayes).

Good luck! Evgeny.
