Hello! Romanoff and Andrey Khristov touched on the topic for days:

AK>> You think narrowly.
AK>> There are development tools for MSXDOS,
AK>> and its file system is somewhat
AK>> more effective than TRDOS.

MR> it’s not easier to port these tools
MR> to your native Spectrum axis?

Guys, on Profyak CP/M runs absolutely all system software
from MSX, in which system resources are called only through
CALL 0005h. These are, in particular: Turbo-Pascal, Macro-80 Assembler and its modern (from Egor Voznesensky) version AS, which
supports Z380 and MSX-4 standards even on a machine with Z80 (in a sense, you can assemble it, but you can execute it ;)), this is the link editor (linker) LINK1.31 and its brother from Egor Voznesensky - LD (also with Z380 support). Is that enough to start with? :-)
If you have any questions, please let me know, I've been on MSX since 1983.

P.S. Z380 in Russian was chewed up in Nicron 7...27, if
I'm not mistaken, and somewhere among these issues there was a huge article by
Egor Voznesensky: "MSX. The history of the 'failed' standard."

With respect -
Vladimir.
