Tell me, is there a program that would save ZX games in IBM .exe?

From Alexandr Lebedev To All 7 May 1997

Hello Ivan! Nice to see you. :)

I’m reading my mail and suddenly I see: Ivan Shmelev writes to All.
Interesting... I thought and added:

IS> Tell me, is there such a program that would save ZX games in IBM
IS> .exe ?
Is there such a program in Warajevo (it seems like that)?

Good luck! Alexander Lebedev.

AL> There is such a program in Warajevo. It's called zxcomp.exe
AL> PS: Maybe in its echo? Total 72 kilos. ~18 blocks of 100 lines.

Come on.

SN> Come on.

Is it necessary? Here's a piece from the document on it:

======================================================================================

6. PROGRAM 'ZXCOMP'
================

Using program ZXCOMP you can compile snapshot files into a standalone
EXE programs which can be started indipedently of emulator and ROM files. This
compiling has a following limitations:

[...]

- Only 'Warajevo' and Lunter's version 2.0. snapshot files can be compiled (not
Lunter's snapshot files version 3.0.). This is not a problem, because you can
load Lunter's snapshot file version 3.0. into 'Warajevo' emulator, and save
snapshot again in 'Warajevo' format.

=============================================================================

So it can only convert snapshots from Warajevo and Lunter
Z80 version 2.0 to EXE. But the Z80 3.0 can’t. To do this you need to have the complete package.

By the way, Warajevo is freckable on the origin:

EV> Oh, I should!? After all, they threw more.
EV> Hey, moderator: eh?
Guys, why didn’t you read the rules?
If the file is larger than 128kb (About that), then you need the moderator’s permission.
And if it’s less, then no.

AK> Guys, why didn’t you read the rules?
AK> If the file is larger than 128kb (Approximately this), then you need permission
AK> from the moderator. And if less, then no.

In this case, this zxcomp.exe is of no use - it does not understand the .Z80 format from
the third Lunter.
