the same as the Campston joystick - 31st, I think. To connect the mouse
you also need to have the high order bits of the port; not all of them are used in Campston.
With best wishes - Vlad.

Vlad is that you?
...why were you telling Max Lanskih about Kempston Mouse??? ?

keep quiet, uncle... if you don’t know anything...

for your own education:

KEMPSTON - office in England.

products (popular)

1.kempston joystick
2.kempston mouse
3.kempston printer
4.etc.

all of these are completely different devices, united by the name of the office.
the idea is clear?

Good Luck...

... If at first you don't succeed, create an "NT" version.

nonsense, exactly.

earlier, when people didn’t learn to connect Corvette mice to
music, and no one made a Kempston mouse, some tofaris
took the simple path. They made circuits in the mouse that
simulated pressing certain directions in the joystick port
in order to depict its movement without special software
support...

this is antiquity, that's what... and the dynamics of this
method are very bad.

Good Luck...

... Windows Error 019: User error. It's not our fault. Is not!

damn, to be honest, I don’t remember. Years ago somewhere, I read that this mouse
hangs on the joystick port using high-order bits. _I don’t remember_ where
it was, for the life of me. I even assembled it.... just not I remember whether it worked or
not, but in any case you received two more answers, so it’s better to use their
advice.
