CASIC mourns
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Evgeniy Kudaev → To All 4 April 1998
Greetings, dear All!
CASIC WITH REGRET !!!!
-Well, you surprised me!!!
Now I am convinced that the letters are not written by real ZX users
but by former ones. Peace to your ashes, may IBM rest in peace.
Mourning Cacique
at the fraternal grave.

Ew! I'm a sicklerist, and you don't need to bury me! And if I write letters on a PC, it doesn't mean anything!
With a cheerful smile, but a sad look, Stanley.

I would give a plus with all my heart, if there was an opportunity. As they say, if you don’t like it, don’t read it.
PS: I don’t like brakes. Considering themselves the centers of the universe and almost
the only real Speckies... Something like the chicken from Cow and
Chicken by Hanna-Barbera ;)
With God's blessing, Sergei Novikov aka Spirit^dR^sNG

Ewww!!! Please don’t upvote me, it’s not me, but CASIC, he’ll come to me
and write his own opinion. Sorry again, CASIC doesn’t have FIDO
and that’s why he writes from my address.
And on the ZX I forgot like this a long time ago.

What, to be a Spectrumist you have to give a damn about everything else?
Lovers and collectors of retro cars drive, however, modern
cars. What is important here is the state of... well, the soul, or something... And not at all the name of the computer being used. It’s like in religion - a real believer does not necessarily wear attributes, but with all his self he stands for his faith, not letting it die.
2All: By the way, about religion - as I remember, in the Orthodox religion on There was a split in Rus' - the ancient believers and those who came to terms with innovations. Very reminiscent of the current situation of ZX-Sp. Some came to terms with the irreversibly growing demands on computers and decided to upgrade the spectrum (there is no need to say that the word
UpGrade is from IBM's lexicon), and those who decided that it is better to be small, but
native. I am one of the old Spectrumists.
