Inforcom ordered to live long
ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Pavel Fedin → To All 26 December 1997
Hello, Yury Matveyev! I remember that on December 25, 97 you took it and launched
in All with this:
YM> Subject. Today, after a telephone conversation with Friedman
YM>, the recent fears of the firm's clients were confirmed. Inforcom has released
YM> the latest issues of the Review, thereby fulfilling its last obligations to
YM> subscribers. Programs for distribution
YM> no longer accepts, it has said goodbye to Spectrum activities.
And what will happen to us now? :-(((Where to get Hard&soft? From whom? How
to exchange information?
Bye, with a pack of vicious, Pavel Fedin.
From Evgeny Milun → To All 26 December 1997
:))))) This was clear back in 1994, when they began to gradually creep away to IBM and Amiga, and Spectrum was not treated with the same zeal...
Good luck! Evgeny.
■ The night is shorter than the day... The day will kill me... The world of illusions burns down in it. (C) Aria.

FIDO, Spectrum press, personal connections...

In Tsaritsino at FFC. =)
PF> How to exchange information?
Sysopnik/Fido to choose from :)
With God's blessing, Sergei Novikov AKA Spirit/STEP

... Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my Soul to keep.
From Serge Zonov → To All 29 December 1997
As for Hard-a, it is better directly from us, since Inforkom sold
only ours, and only part of what we send out by mail. And this is more than 60
positions. And the software, although with a delay, is also appearing with us.
In my opinion, the remaining spektrumists on the periphery will not particularly feel the
lack of Inforcom, from the point of view of purchasing goods. As for the exchange of
information, it is, of course, sad that Inforcom no longer exists, since
Inforcom's main merit is precisely the publication of printed Spectrum publications.
Some of them were more successful, others less so, but the most important thing is that they existed, and
we will miss them now. On the other hand, maybe there will be more letters
to well-known electronic magazines, for example, ZX Format, as well as to the new St. Petersburg
magazine Spectrum-Expert.
Serge !

Hello, Serge Zonov! I remember that on December 29, 97 you just launched this at me:

How to pay? Money in an envelope? I'm not crazy. ;-)

DG> write to St. Petersburg (there are no more large distributors), and
DG> with the other shake FFC.
Yes, he has a ZXNet node, but it doesn’t link to anyone. All four nodes in
Moscow were disabled. And restoring links is a problem for him - he is offended by the whole world.
He said a hundred times - link to 095/462 and everything will be fine...
He will now say that in Moscow mail does not go and echoes... They go everywhere,
except for his node.
Sincerely, Alexey Ivanov
From Alexey Legotin → To All 4 January 1998
SN> Faylekha, FFC in Tsaritsyno.
There is no Faylekha. Tsaritsyno is far away... :(
All the best to you!
Alexey.

So that such stupid questions no longer appear (no offense)
I am giving a shortened version of our price list on the subject of Spectrum-Scorpion, as well as
brief conditions for ordering by mail:
When purchasing by mail, additional costs are 15% of the cost
of the order, but not less than 5 USD. Additional costs for AIR parcels + 10 -
15% (Depending on the region). All prices are indicated in conventional units, payment in
rubles at the rate of $ on the MICEX + 3% on the day of sending the transfer, but not less than 6.5 rubles
per 1 cu. (Until 03/01/98) When delivering wholesale quantities, discounts up to 10%.
>To order you must:
1.inform or by phone (812)298-0653,251-1262, or in writing 199048 PO Box
083, Sergei Yuryevich Zonov, or by Fido your full postal address, content
of the order, additional wishes.
2.
>Option A
Make a postal or telegraphic transfer according to the specified address.
Based on the above procedure for calculating prices. I repeat once again: the cost
of the goods according to the price list + our postage costs (the last 15 (25)% of the price of the goods,
but not less than 5).
>Option B
Pay by transfer only part (at least 25%) of the total amount under option A.
The rest, increased by 10%, will have to be paid at the post office whenreceiving
the order.
>Option B
If the order amount is small up to 15 ue = ~ 100 rubles, then you don’t have to pay at all
but order cash on delivery.
3. We ship the order within 2 weeks after receiving the money; orders
with cash on delivery may be delayed for up to 2 weeks, depending on
the workload of the dispatch department to complete 100% of paid orders.
>And now the prices for our products in St. Petersburg.
I repeat, these are the prices in our service center. When purchasing by mail, the price
increases by 15(25-AIR)% due to the costs of sending your order.

It’s not just that they brought it from Chelyabinsk. He is closer to the Stalinites than we are. And it gets to them faster and faster. ;)
With respect, Shor Kan.
In this world, only two things are infinite: the Universe and human stupidity.
