It seems that "Game World Novigator" #9 has been released with a large article by P. Davidov about
Spectrum. I'll buy it and tell you. Or who already has it?

He didn’t even make it to St. Petersburg :( I looked around the whole city - everywhere it’s 7th-8th, and in

The man made such a cool article about the Spectrum! And not just anywhere, but in a magazine, on the cover of which there is always the motto “PC forever”. Now, if only in
"Amiga Guide" or "Amiga #1" there was something similar, except for "don't hit your head on the Spectrum" :(
In short, this means that "whoever remembers the old, look out" :))

Where? 8-() I bought it on purpose (by the way, I’m not the only one, and finally, someone will owe me 25 rubles ;) The motto there is “+ a coupon for a free demo disc
from....."... no, this is not a motto, this is a “driving force”. A! This is probably - “we

Slav, measure the number of pissy magazines (there’s simply nowhere to spit) - thousands
of titles, with dozens of Amiga ones... And don’t forget about the Spectrum ones - this
Petka Davydov is surprised by their number, and in the world it’s nothing, and even in
a language incomprehensible to the world. And as for the Amizhniks, they should survive on their own, what kind of (emphasis
put it yourself) Spectrum...

These things are not pirated, and if they are pirated, they are sold under the counter. But in the markets only a few pirates have them, and many don’t have them at all. The main thing is that none of the sellers have one, and then everyone will have a license, because
such things cannot be “hidden behind.” It’s the same story with the “Pilot Brothers.”

You are absolutely right, with c++ (or without the pluses) it is much easier
to do everything, the main thing is that it works, and the rest is a matter of
techniques.

The main obstacle to the transfer will most likely be the architecture of the Spectrum;
48 KB and pages with C000. And if you overcome this barrier, you will still have
to convert the graphics. Perhaps it will be easier to do this on Sprinter
and make the work much easier if you immediately write taking into account the transfer.

Maybe, if not more... In the same sub-section the planned circulation
for StarCraft was given - 1,600,000.
DG> 21/10000.
21,000 is a very good figure. Which Russian project sells in large
circulations? Maybe just the notorious Parkan. I have two friends who work in two
different companies that write toys for the rotten West :) According to them - 50,000
is the limit for an average game. And this is considered normal.

Like, is it better to be the first in the village than the last in the city? ;) No, I don’t

Well, I don’t know, maybe the “old school” is speaking in me. But, IMHO, for example
you can’t write anything in C that I couldn’t write in
Assembler...
And the problem of memory architecture is really key in this matter.
The only ways that I see now:
1) To access data, enter a three-byte address, and using
a special The driver procedure converts a three-byte address into a “two-byte + page No” and reads/writes a byte using it. I
used this method in the first versions of my ZX-WinWord. It is good for everyone, but only when large volumes of processed data (over 100-200 bytes) begin to slow down quite noticeably...
2) For procedures/functions:
a) similar to (1) - a call is made to a three-byte address;
b) in the main memory there is a resident who turns on the desired page and
jumps to a fixed two-byte address.
All methods have their advantages/disadvantages, but one drawback
is present in all of them - _SHARP_performance decreases...
