Main purpose of the conference: discussion of computer platforms
AMIGA and PC, in particular their comparison.

■ TOPIC:

- discussion and comparison of AMIGA and PC platforms.
- discussion of emulators of a particular platform.
- and everything else that concerns these two platforms.

Penalties will follow for advertising about the sale or registration of PROGRAMS.

■ FORM OF EXCHANGE INFORMATION - PROGRAMS/CODES/FILES:

The following is accepted at the RU.AMIGA.TALKS conference:
- basic form: UUENCODE in sections of no more than 100-150
lines of archives received by _AMIGA_ or _IBM_compatible_ archivers ;

- Subject (Subj.) of the message containing the uencode,_must_begin_
with [xx/yy], where xx is the number of the uencode section, yy is the total number of sections;

- placement of voluminous (more than 100kb) materials in the conference _only_
_after_ preliminary agreement with the moderator;

- use of uencodes _other_forms_ of information presentation
is unacceptable;

■ DISTRIBUTION:

The echo conference RU.AMIGA.TALKS is distributed:
- among sysops of nodes and sysops of points of any networks,
as related to FIDO-net, and not related, if these
networks show interest in the conference, and an
agreement is reached with the moderator.
- gating to ANY networks is WELCOME with prior
agreement with the moderator.

■ PROHIBITED:

Strictly are prohibited: (in brackets - type of punishment)

1. (+) obscene expressions and expressions that CAN
BE INTERPRETED as such.
The decision on INTERPRETATION is made by the moderator or comoderators
and only them.
ALLOWED Replacing obscene words with icons like "@#th",
if they do not offend one of the conference readers.
Be correct and restrained!

2. (+) discussion of the actions of the moderator and comoderators, disputes with them
_in_the_conference_ - there is a netmail for this;

3. (+) violation forms of information exchange;

4. (*) personal correspondence toecho areas - there is a netmail for this;

5. (*) letters with the Pvt flag;

6. The language of the echo conference is Russian.

7. INTENTIONAL DISTORTION (CORRECTION) of the Russian language
as well as distortion of platform names is considered as violation.
The judgment about intentionality is made by the moderator and only he.

_8_ . (+) Messages like yesterday for the first time I saw AMIGA, RS, etc - nothing good
my AMIGA, RS, etc is much cooler! Criticism or glorification of any
platform is allowed only with reason! Based on specific
facts or personal _experience_ of the writer.

with appropriate penalties.

The decision on punishment is made by the moderator and comoderators and only them.
When disconnected (!), the NODE that allowed the appearance in conference
of the offending letter, even if the letter comes from POINT and|or its user.
If the violation comes from a moderator or comoderator node,
then such node is switched to READ-ONLY mode, with the ability to write
letters only by the moderator|comoderator, so that the conference is not left
without supervision.
If the violation comes from a hub node, then the node must be switched
to PASSTHRU mode for THIS conference for the specified time, so as not to
interfere with its distribution.

■ WHAT IS NOT PROHIBITED -ALLOWED:

Otherwise, the rules of ECHOPOLICY and the basic rules
of region 50 conferences apply to the extent that they do not contradict
the above.
