Yes, it may still be useful:

An integral timer is a tricky business! I’ll ask Konstantin, maybe he
knows something.

This is not a timer, but a serial-parallel adapter.

Hello, Konstantin Winogradow! I remember that on May 27, 97 you took it and launched it at me with this:

KW> programming the BB51 is not difficult, like any Soviet equipment ;) here is

Thanx! Your homeland will not forget you. :-)

Don’t mess with BB51 - it’s a very glitchy microcircuit, above 9600 the flowcontrol curve doesn’t work normally. It’s better to modify the connection diagram for the ISA slot and
insert a modem or a port into it, or take an 8250, or 16c450.

P.S. The terminal (even with the source code) seemed to be from CoModeratora (Klug BBS).

1) However, it works on the 9600. 2) Why add another port, which
is also non-standard and has no support?

So it asks for fracking, but I can’t call from one to three o’clock...

Although you are right, since the Pro has already been soldered, it must be supported. As for the
docs - analyze the source code of the comport driver from the terminal, almost everything is described there, although there are few comments, but the logic of sending a byte, receiving a byte and
initializing the vv51 and vi53 (it sets the speed) can be understood....

No way...... vv51 sucks, by today's standards, it's better to really install
ISA slot oriented to COM ports, whoever needs it will plug in a modem.
Whoever needs it - a port to communicate with another computer via a link.

I wonder if internal modems are also doomed to extinction? And FIFO-ISA ports
are being released, and will be released, in the next few years.

But this hardware must correspond to the times! Professional Limitcontroller -

For the time when it was made, the 14400 modem was the height of perfection.

If God allows you to write an OS, it will work. Then even in Prof ROM on
