in more detail... :) in general, the system is like this:
you put together a circuit, plug in Hayes. it either
works or it doesn't. if it works, then
everything is ok, if it doesn’t work, look for a new
hayes.

BOCA modems, USR 1995,
old ones up to 91 years old 2400, 1200, ... without protocols,
and only Allah knows why.
USR 1994 and more or less new ones (after
1992) work best year) 2400 mnp5 v42bis. above 14400 on Spec
it doesn’t make sense, I think it’s clear why.

The modem must provide settings for COM1 and IRQ4,
otherwise it won’t work.

IA> and, if possible, send your coordinates by soap

And much more in detail. :) Take a 14400 sportsster (preferably not a '95 one), plug it in, take it out of the slot, take a box of 2400 modems and plug it in
each in a row, testing the performance. Usually 5-6 times you can choose a modem that works normally with the spectrum. ;)
