Hackers - MUST DIE!!!!

I greet you from the bottom of my heart, All !

How you are GORKED to suck SOS - now we have a broken HF on the market, and
most likely we won’t be able to do anything about it :(
So let’s give the rest of the software to freeloaders - they’ve been doing it for two months They've fooled their heads, and now we'll give them everything fresh, hot on a platter!
Stop worrying about foolishness - something needs to be decided! If people like Slava leave Specka because of
these degenerates, it's worthless to everyone taken together!

Hasta la vista.
Tim Kelly

P.S. not at all. From some programs
we have much more income, and yet I have not felt such resentment as now
NEVER! Where will we end up if those who
bring Specky to the grave will receive money under our noses?

2Slava: Don’t worry, we will buy CVs even if we trade
at a loss to ourselves - let them be brutes. choke!

It’s probably necessary to start voting in the echo about participation in the
project. Those who don’t agree to help, it’s their business, those who agree, let
join. Damn, in the echo there was a request to send a list of software that is ready or
prepared for release in the near future, and the answer was silence :-((((

Similarly.

If you write something to me, it’s better to send it by email, it will arrive faster.

Yes, whoever undertook to compile a FAQ on traders, PLZ, throw it in the echo again.

Sincerely, Alex from FFC COMPUTERS.

More likely In general, so do I. However, judging by the results of the distribution for the first two months, I will still close the planned circulation (1000 copies). I hope that traders who distributed the ChV at their own risk will not go broke either (IMHO, everyone ordered as much as they could distribute). forced...

We created! But they never bought anything from us! It's funny, we've been pushing the only allied
platform runner Smagli3 for two years now! Zhenya, you don’t need to run far for examples. The author asked for $100 for himself; the rest even refused the reward, so that the price would not become even higher. And what? Well, from all over the Union it would be possible to get $100? Or do we encourage gamemakers only with language? We have
6 games that are 90% ready. But I'm afraid that if this continues, no one will ever see them! :-(

EM> Yes, it seems like SOS was a program to save Spectrum, or am I wrong?

It’s clear. They didn’t save, they didn’t have time to put pressure...

EM> Nothing of the kind! I really like this idea (with links to the machine, etc.), I didn’t like that they were going to give all the programs to pirates, and

No one is going to give anything to pirates. The maximum that they will get is
free software or software for which the authors have already been paid for, and even then - hardly
that is, which they still get now. But “honest traders” really don’t fit into the scheme, except indirectly ;)

EM> Thank you, no need :) But with such an attitude towards traders you will not be able

Where did you see the hatred? You're hitting on what I like, I'm answering you.
What does this have to do with traders? What does hatred have to do with it?

EM> Are you offended that they once bought something bad from you? And you

They never bought anything from me :) Neither bad nor good;) Two
bankrupt SPF numbers are not a reason to be offended by small traders. I'll tell you a secret (for you) - all of Step's projects, first of all, were paidInforcom
(that's who never complained about the lack of payback), other traders brought
10-20 percent. What happened to numbers 22/23? (in general, the story
is interesting, but dirty)

EM> created conditions for them to work normally? You won’t get far with the words “these are your problems”! Finally understand!

I understand. You are a freeloader, not a trader :) And create conditions for him and scare away pirates and
organize an association and copy disks and drive away flies... and in the intervals between
moaning and nurturing your beloved, also write programs... I am in awe of your
charming arrogance ;) But in the market they can’t stand up for you?

I can only suggest punitive measures :) But they are unpopular :)

The transfer is 10%, and the package is generally cheap. It’s better that the author receives ten

a trader who did not obtain distribution rights will find a broken version, and
the author will not receive anything at all.

The situation here is the same as with pirated video cassettes. During the Iron Curtain, video pirates were a ray of light in the socialist darkness. And now video pirates are only slowing down the development of the film industry. With computers everything is the same. Previously, a hacker brought tangible benefits to the platform.
Now, by breaking copyrighted software and depriving manufacturers of at least
some profit, he contributes to the decay of the platform. :(((

From Sergei Novikov To All 13 March 1998

I don’t agree, oddly enough. They always slowed down the development of the film industry (they didn’t pay money to film producers), but before it was useful - millions of dollars did not leave the country for the West. Now video pirates are more likely to harm honest video companies (Video Service, West Video, etc.) than anyone else. Previously, these
video concerns did not exist, and domestic cinema did not produce anything
competitive to Western ones.

Having covered all aspects of the development and distribution of ChW, one cannot help but dwell
on such a nasty and slippery topic as hacker activity in relation to
a poor program... So:

1. Work on opening the hacker's activity, of course, has been going on since the first days of the appearance of the
full version (I know of at least three places of hacker's activity). For a long time
the skill of using the shadow monitor and the Magic button has disappeared, but a serious threat
remains.
2. The stupid hacker's idea that any protection is removed in
1-2 hours (in a month or two, maybe ;))) has been dispelled.
3. However, it is clear that the further you go, the greater the chances that a brokenThe raven
appears. Time is on the hackers' side :(((
4. It is also clear that it is impossible to recoup a project that took a year and a half to develop in two or three months.
5. This is especially true against the backdrop of the declining number of Spectrum users.

Actually, the situation is as follows. If two or three years ago, rabid hacker
activities could not seriously shake the stability of the distribution of author
works, then now any hack can forever prevent you from developing
serious commercial projects :(
Therefore, in order to get ahead of the damned hackers, I give them WARNING:

"If at least one Spectrum user refuses to purchase the game "Black
Raven", citing the possibility of purchasing/receiving a broken version, then
further activities of Copper Feet's on the Spectrum will be limited only to
production levels to the above-mentioned program!"

References to ignorance of this warning are not taken into account. As well as
lack of endings, such as “Unknown hacker present...”

At one time, Yura Matveev beautifully said: “I will not tolerate anyone
trying to take the STEP group by the balls...” The time has come for me to
join him...

For my part, it’s too early to give in to the fever :))) But better "it's still early" than "it's
too late"...

With warm greetings, Slava!

How long will it take, given a smooth but not sharply falling sales volume for the project
