Who makes it? Have you at least attracted really elite Muscovite spektrumists to create your “festival” (that word is so stupid...)?
Progress, Xtreme (Moscow HQ)??? How are you going to do a stage demo party
without the slightest idea of the stage? Or engage in samizdat again?
Organize a drinking party on a Russian scale...
AM>> Paid entry is the way out ;)

Paid admission is a mandatory condition (immediately after the name change).
In general, has anyone here declared the universality of the organization? And all decisions
are made behind the backs of potential participants.

This is a big minus. Without beer it will be difficult to communicate. Damn, it's a blast Random
solved this problem in his information book.
WB> But outside the party - good luck. Alexey Ivanov, for example, without

For someone to fall into the river while drunk? =)
Alex, we should put a life jacket on everyone=)
WB> I urge all future participants not to disturb the order in the

Beer and hot dogs.

And if the work is ready 12 hours before the compo? This is normal, there is no need for shouts like
“it’s possible in advance.” Demo-making is an art, but in art it’s so bad... =)

Maybe immediately with the results? Do you ever think that a bunch of so-called party releases will arise? It is not recommended to distribute them, because... this is essentially a demo version... And such things will happen.

You won’t even get half of it in advance, I’m telling you that for sure.
AM>> Demo 5 min
WB> Ten. 5 is not enough.
It’s funny. As long as it goes, so much goes, just write in the rules: style like da
trackmo. And whoever does the extended one will pay with fatigue and disgust
voters.
AM>> 4k intro
WB> Hardly a popular genre... We are not planning such a nomination yet. But
WB> if there are time reserves, then who knows, who knows...
Damn, the most progressive genre is being killed... We need 0 more bytes of intro and Wild compo.
AM>> Realtime coders 3 hours

Why not? Simultaneously with music & gfx compos.
AM>> Prizes: To give or not to give?

in moderation... =)
Prizes are the third most important item after changing the name, introducing beer with
paid entry.

Exactly, they’ve already banned it once and what happened?
What happened is that the people at the party are “smart” and always ready
to show their “mind”, so sneaking another can of say “Pepsi” will not be a problem for them
and in general many will drink beer outside the party
WB> Being drunk at a party condition will not be allowed.
And how will you determine this very condition, what is the criterion?
WB> And we will take care of the usual buffet.
I’m actually a non-drinker and in theory I need to shout out louder than anyone
beer, but you guys are making a serious mistake by banning it, if you really want to
good, then sell beer on tap...

AH> Who makes it? Have you at least attracted really elite
AH> Muscovite spektrumists to create your “festival”
AH> (what a stupid word...)?
Kano? ;))).
it’s generally better to remain silent, well, at most, such a program will occupy 128 bytes.
AH> And how are you going to make a stage demo party without the slightest
AH> idea of the scene?
And what about the echo?
If I’m not mistaken, you have an idea of the scene, so help me...
From Sergei Novikov → To All 15 November 1997
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magicki ;) Ha-ha... If the elite are in
the past. They blamed it on the Amiga, selling it
at inflated prices to uninformed
Sinclairists, while claiming that
Spectrum is dead - it’s time to change the platform.
In general, almost every “non-lamer” can join the organizers. And even more so celebrities. From the PGS side, as I understand it, no one expressed a desire to join
the organizers, and the magicians don’t want to.
AH> How are you going to make a stage demo party without the slightest
AH> idea about the stage?
Nu-nu
AH> Or do you start doing samizdat again? Organize a drinking party on a Russian
AH> scale...
Already now the organizing committee includes 11 people (against one on Inlight), and
they are not sitting idly by. It is already clear that everything will be organized an order of magnitude better than on the E97. The traffic in LAN 689.FUNTOP, organized for this occasion, is
comparable to ZX.SPECTRUM's (up to 80 messages per day without yue).
There are no plans to ban beer... Everyone can calm down ;)
WB>> Being drunk at a party will not be allowed.
AM> How will you determine this very state, what is the criterion?
Well, the questions are straight from 689.FUNTOP ;) There is a time for everything, what else can you say. Don't rush things. We'll tell you everything, we just need to come to a final
decision on each issue...
From Andrey Mihaylow → To All 15 November 1997
SN> To be honest, we haven’t decided anything specific on this issue yet.
SN> So don’t despair. Blessed is he who believes ;))
Well, decide, at least Realtime coders, I'm not talking about graphics and
music's, and I can only dream about realtime.hackers-crackers:
R E A L T I M E H A C K E R S - C R A C K E R S
C O M P O __ _ _
|___|_ |_||_|
| |____||_|
Each participant brings with him his own defense, which will be encrypted with some
cipher word.
After the referee's whistle, hackers begin to frantically break the opponent's defense,
Whoever breaks it first wins...
I’ll say right away that the picture is the same as the picture, I saw it myself how they break defenses,
it _simply_ in general_ sometimes even reaches the point of absurdity, like the usual command:
LD A, 199
LD (23455), A
and after it for some reason the sts is reset... :))
In general, I once brought a person to the point of absurdity, outwardly it looked like this
the person reaches this command, looks not point-blank for a minute presses shift+z
bang everything resets 8-|
, well, it’s the same story again 8-O
the same thing, but only with shift+t 8-{|}
the same, but with the new sts 8-[ ], too, but with the old sts %-|
the same, but on a different computer%-E
also, but on an emulator %-)
In general, after that he forgot what Spectrum assembly was =)
With respect, Andrey Mihaylow
From Vsevolod Potapov → To All 15 November 1997
:))) that's the only reason why I chose this name. I have a strong image of these
AS> We should have some fun ourselves and so that the Spectrum would benefit, i.e.
Yes, it seems to me that we should have some fun It was a great success both this year and last year. True, it all looked like a drinking party of a group
of youngsters who, left without the supervision of their parents, decided to become
'cool'...
And if they organize something like this at that school, I think they will not only complete everything in half a day
, but will also end up doing well. I mean - rows of drunken
*spectrumists* (well, maybe a couple of Amizhniks sleeping in
nightstands ;), vomited sartirs (after all, drinking, as I understand it -
no one wants to ban), a pile of garbage... You can also add
scribbled on the walls... (not what you thought, but just
painted...)
Good Luck...
