ZXNet echo conference «zx.spectrum»
From Igor Gruzdev → To All 8 February 1998
Hello, All!
Is it even _real_ possible to run zx.spectrum echoed in EyeAche2 on
_what_spectrum or emulator? In general, are there any DR releases that are working? Subject!!! How angry I am... :-E I tried everything I had. Three emuls, scorp with 7ffd enabled and disabled, 'accelerated' and not
accelerated... What else should I try? Sax, what the hell, the releasers suck. :(
With all kinds of regards and wishes.
Igor.
P.S. I consider it a personal insult to mention the need to write a BASIC file in front of all files on
disk.

Hello, Igor!
Once upon a time, and more specifically Sunday, February 08, 1998 at 11:33 Igor Gruzdev
hit the keyboard, composing a letter for All:

I don’t know, it worked great on Shalaev 3.04.

;) How would you feel about me mentioning to you the need

DR are good releasers (they are only indirectly related to the demo - if
your program doesn’t work, you can only blame yourself). And EyeAche2 runs fine,
probably for almost everyone (except for diskloader).

Listen brother, why be so rude to people, and it’s completely in vain.
Take our Rostov emulsion, which was written by Lion17 (2:5061/7.27) the latest imho
version was v0.31beta. And as for the first bass file, well, you’ve already forgotten that.
Relax, what’s so offensive about it, and understand this is a demo, not a game, here is a regular sequential loader, besides, already in EYEACHE2 it also has a muse. So you don’t need to check the position of files on the disk in the demo, and in some
it’s impossible (for example, when combining all parts into 3 blocks of 255 seconds each, how do you
know which part corresponds to which block, and if one part is in 2 different
blocks, these are unnecessary problems with positioning)
So you’ve somehow gone off topic.
With maximum respect, Andy Harchenko.

Binary Love. It doesn’t fit into anything, even if you crack it. I launched it from everywhere and on everything, from a screw and from a floppy drive - no way.
I downloaded from three different bbs, took floppy disks from friends - the same way.
The first part is normal, then after the picture is showered with white fragments - it hangs tightly with a blinking border,
like with LOAD "" in BASIC. I climb into the shadows and see: the processor is spinning in the area #5b10...#5b20 in an endless JR loop twenty bytes back...
By chance there is no such thing there:
LD (ERRSP), address
RST #8
For Scorp, #0008 is the call point for BIOS macro functions, and there are several hanging on it. dozens of different functions, so you need to be careful with this.
And I want to look at the demo...
PS: And I’m afraid to run your programs -> I don’t run them. They kill the eighth
page. And there the shadow guy keeps the partition plate on the screw, so if everything that I spent six months pulling on
2400 is killed, I will lose my mind. + ScorpionZS256turbo+/SMUC/HDD'IDE130Mb/FDD'800/

There should just be respect for the recipients? To be honest, before I throw it (it was a long time ago), I thoroughly try to check it on the emulators available to me, Scorpio and so on. Naturally, I cannot guarantee the integrity of the version of this or that program (as in the case of ikari, which I threw into the firewall for a very long time, for the sake of its spreading, and what I threw turned out to be broken (or
Medzhikovskaya?) in short, they said that it was crooked.) but it worked at 100 percent. I myself went through it to the end. Not everything can be completed to the end for the sake of checking, but to
leaving the user (or at least not warning about it) in front of a frozen spec/emule is rudeness. IMHO.

our own city. They will pay you too.

And where does this “tarnished reputation” come from?
(For example, from your point of view, my reputation is tarnished? And what:
bad programs or “objectionable speeches”? (My ZX-WinWord v2.1 saw
S-TERMINAL v0.1? Our Oberons (especially Oberon-4), which the same Novikov so persistently mmmm... uh... spits before this very "soaking" by the author?). will “warm up” the users very well.
So, think about it, isn’t it easier to first establish a mechanism for testing
programs and feedback with the authors? (Again, I’ve been talking about this for
two years).

No, it’s not clear. There was already such a trader. So what?

Well... not everything is so bad....for example, the PreStiGe logo on SPECCY - done
pleasantly (although no one will force you to look at it).

Why read them? -:). You need to launch Warez and play/watch/work.
And if you want to contact the authors/hackers, then you will have to get creative,
reading the words backwards and from bottom to top...

Most users won’t even look at what Arty wrote...

Specifically: the conditions are free (freeware!). The design is quite readable (for me
it is perfectly readable). I don’t see any problems...And everyone has their own opinion...Thank you for
your attention.

DISTRIBUTE FOR MONEY AND WITH AN APPROPRIATE WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCT.
The product is distributed free of charge, moreover someone else's, and "AS IS".
You do not have any right to demand anything from the distributor.

I could. But... You know, it’s one thing to “be able to read”, and another thing to just

afaik the prestige logo was pulled from the Amiga releases of a Western group
with the same name. like the name itself. I don’t know why and why
