Hello, Tim!

> AS> About 10 main components: processor,
z84c0010PEC $2.72 xxxx20PEC - $6.5
>>Altera,
>Which one?
Will depend on the complexity of the circuit, but the cheapest ones start from $4.5, although
it may turn out to be $8 ;)
>
> AS> ROM,
>Volume?
OTP
64K (without CP/M-F) AT27c512R-12PC $1.65
128K(CP/M-F+ROM disk+ a lot of everything) 010-12PC $3.00
>
> AS> flash,
>Volume?
128K AT29c010A $4.65
1M $14.20? or $13.20 I don’t remember
>
> AS> 2 coprocessors,
>Which ones?
TOP-Secret :) at $2.70 for 1 piece.
>
> AS> 4-RAM +
>Static? Which ones and how much?
Static
UMC 61256AK-15 15ns 32k X8 $1.95
>
> AS> small things $2-3
>VG93 - small things? :)
vg93 and AY will not be, instead of AY there will be 2-channel FM.
Small things are quartz, resistors, condensers, cranks, etc.
>
> AS> all this costs about $29.
>
>I got it almost twice as expensive :)
Add it all up - you’ll get $29.32 (if it’s small) 128th is $30.67
>
> AS> Considering the cost of the board is about 0.8 dm^2 for $2-3
>
>And is it really possible to make 100 boards for this price? Can you give me the address? I'm very jealous (honestly!) :)
Well, what's the point of charging, the standard fee in St. Petersburg is $20 for preparation
production,
$4 per dm^2 -manufacturing.
>
>Naturally, if this is a normal board on a normal PCB, and the price
>includes materials and drilling. Then it’s just for nothing.
Of course, I don’t know about a normal PCB, I’ll have to feel it ;)
>
>A board of this type will have to be soldered for a day. And another half a day to set up (although with
good installation quality, 90% will start immediately). Who will do this for $4?
Den? Are you kidding me? Such an installer will only work for me for one day!
Half a day is the maximum. And therefore $8 a day, in St. Petersburg, just a whistle.
$200 IS NOT EVERYWHERE, people even pay for 700-900 rubles. work, especially if they have a flexible
schedule.
Another person will test. Three are soldering - one is testing. 6 fees per day for four people.
> >> I’m not yet counting taxes, racketeering, discounts for distributors, guarantees and
> AS> All this will happen if they start buying hundreds of pieces a year.
>
>Only 100 pieces a year? Then what's the point of bothering? For $399.00????
For $800! It is quite possible to solder 200 pieces in 2-3 months.
Add on the cost of the software (you need at least one strategy and one
simulator for $2-3 at once) Total $1200 INCOME in 2-3 months.
And in the future, we will write software as if they were undermined ;)
>
>It is useless to count on new users. Although for 100 pieces a year - maybe.
We will sell 200 pieces in a year - I have no doubt at all, but thenwe'll see.
I would buy such a board myself for $40 now :), but shaking the money out of me is
super difficult ;)
>
>But it won't be that cheap. And 3D video games at 10 MHz are not particularly impressive...
It will be equivalent to 30 MHz Spectrum (and maybe more).
And besides, the screen is not so powerful in terms of resolution, so everything will be
GOOD :)
