From Evgeny Milun To All 11 September 1997

Hello Roman !

PS>> It’s time to comment on the situation and draw some conclusions.
RA> [skipped]

RA> What I just can’t understand is why so many quite adults
RA> people behave like little children, if it is said that it is impossible, then it is necessary
RA> _necessarily_ to do the opposite?
The not unknown Yuriy Matveev once answered your question: the bulk of
ZX-Spectrum users are young people...
Although, then he spoke this phrase with proud...
[.....]
RA> what are the others like? Sad, disgusting.... As I understand
RA> the bewilderment of that person who recently asked here “Are all
RA> programmers like this?”
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, no... This is a complex as old as the world - I drink beer by the liter, that means
I’m cooler than you, and more mature...
RA> Gentlemen, isn’t it clear to you that by such behavior you are forming
RA> among those around you a clear and unambiguous stereotype in relation to fidoshniks,
RA> hackers, Sinclairists.
You know... I already got the impression a year and a half ago that many
Sinklerists are just... to show off...
[.....]
RA> But what I really _can’t understand_ is the appearance of a whole heap
RA> of post-ENLIGHT letters totopic: And here's how I.... how we drank.... and
RA> how the cops treated us after that..... It's just some kind of exhibitionism
RA> to turn out your indignity in front of others.
Standard behavior of the post-Soviet lumpen. What comes first is who can drink how much, and who is better than who will clean your face... Since recently,
the standard method of behavior for the majority of young people...
[.....]
RA> P.P.S. Anticipating cries like: “I never myself...”, Yes, I myself have never used
RA>, I don’t use it and I hope that I won’t use
RA> internally alcohol-containing liquids are stronger than kvass and kefir.
In vain. For example, I really love beer... But no one has ever seen
me drunk... It's not about the drink, but about the person...

P.S.: Nothing personal.
P.P.S. Enligth we say... :(

Good luck ! Evgeny.

Is this a hint that you need to be able to drink where no one can see you?

EM> It's not about the drink, but about the person...

Well, I say: a cunning person, before getting drunk as hell, will hide out of
sight. Yes?

PS: I’m not talking about myself - I hate alcohol.

Antiofftopic: well, are we going to do E98 in Moscow?

We definitely need to do something. After the events that have taken place, IMO it will be difficult
to find a fool in St. Petersburg who is ready to provide premises for a party, but in
Moscow it will be just right (in the sense that they haven’t had time to shit yet;), and many people will be traveling closer
to it. E98 must definitely happen! More than six months ago, when E97 was just planned, there was a proposal to invite Sinclair. I can imagine his face stretched out in surprise, if he had arrived and seen everything
that was happening on E97:(((E98 can be held anywhere, even here,
but who will come to us, that’s another question... =)

... Well, he would have been completely finished off by the pig-drunk state of these same coders,
don’t forget, he Englishman, remember Barrymore;)))))))

It will now be difficult to find a fool at all who will agree to deal
with organizational issues. Maybe in 5020 ;)

tell me, WHAT happened on the E97? The Spectrum part
took place and except for the unplayed music, everything was OK.
and Sinclair would be glad to see that people looked
at Speck and didn’t see the PC :)

Who will host Enlight in Moscow for Novikova?

Yeah. Here, Shirobokov proposes to move everything to Samara. True, this is
about IBM.
