Hello All!
I'll say right away and directly: from the point of view of an ordinary participant, the E'96 organization was
better than the current one. Everyone complained about the “lack of weed” (don’t think bad
:), then you could leave the room, sit on the lawn, take a break from the noise,
drink beer :), talk (sing songs :) calmly, without disturbing anyone, and
today (yesterday that is) there is a hustle and bustle, but... they don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
But there are a lot of monitors (if only they were in Korabelka then) and you can sit while
watching compo. It didn't work out very well with Spectrum's increased
brightness. The sound was better on the E96. There was a large number of works (quality is a separate conversation), and therefore, I think, registration could have been done in stages - in the order of display, and not playing old demos until the evening (when people
were already tired), but starting showing the registered works. Of course, 160 pictures
are difficult to correctly and objectively evaluate in one viewing - maybe do
something like a preliminary selection (although I didn’t evenI can imagine how to do this - each author must have the right to participate) or impose a limit on the
number of works from one author, and so that pictures from the demos cannot be
exhibited separately.
Once again: this is from the point of view of an ordinary participant, I am in no way
criticizing, but only suggesting for consideration these not so terrible
problems. I understand that it was already difficult, because... I saw an exhausted Volodya at the end of the day on E96 (I didn’t see him this evening, that’s good, otherwise my heart wouldn’t have been able to stand this sight ;).
ZyuYu How I was _sick_ of the plasma in the demos!!! - it was so long, boring,
almost the same in every demo.
With respect, Przybysz Nikolay.

B topic!
Warm greetings, Slava!
From John Stunner → To All 27 August 1997
After the subject, I especially remember two moments:
1. A man with a shield on which was written “I HATE PC”, me and Rsteshnik
dragged along - 5 points.
2. How Arty, KSA and I swam at 11 o’clock in the evening in Neva on Petropavlovsk
beach.
With best wishes, John.
